I know there has been many threads on this and how it will be unlikley due to the market. But I had an Idea that we could present this 'Ski' game to Extreme and if they like the Idea then we win.

Basicly if we put together Idea's we would like to see within this game and email them a document with all of the details (To an extent of content)

I wanna know what everyone thinks?

theres a lot of different ways this game could be organized....

the first thing that came to my mind was having the theme of the game about becoming a pro skier...in any aspect, freeskiing, racing, and maybe moguls or jumping mixed in there too. You could start at the beginning as a rookie, training for the different styles of skiing, like having practice park runs or races, hitting water ramps to stomp landings, etc, and as you progress in practice your skill increases, and competitions start, sponsors are factored in at some point, and you get mad money and become a pro.
 
The only way this game would be successful would be to rip off the control scheme of SKATE with the flick-stick, and any spin imaginable possible because of the nonexistant one-flick-one-spin type feel.

Because they are open to Idea's and take all Idea's into consideration.
 
extreme is a sports channel over hear in europe. the first to have a regular online broadcaste every week that is like a tv show on the europian ski and snowboard scene, its called snow fix. heres a link http://www.extreme.com/snowfix/.

as a company they are owned by ex element international, whom may or may not be owned by anyboady else but, appart from sponcering the production of other games to get there brand more reconition have no ties with the gaming industry.

it is a better idea than mailing EA games for example. but our sport is simply does not yet have the marketablility to make a game with the functions and features that most expect, so i dont think it would not be in the interest of any major names in the gaming industry to produce one.
 
It could still work though. I mean this way if they do like the Idea they would obviously get more people aware of the Game. I guess even including snowboarding would make the market large enough.
 
i must say the idea is good. i wish it would happen and extreme is a good place to start due to being a very innovative bussiness i will come back to this later cos my GF just popped in. give me an hour
 
There is a game in the works already, can't say much more then that right now.

If you have ideas, please send them to me, if they are good, they might make it into the game ;: )
