OR do Canada it's different and there are BIG hills. Try spending some time in BCs/Alberta's interior... Fernie, Louise, Pano etc.

spent part of this summer in Nzed and it was soooo fun. I would choose NZ over canada not just because of the skiing but everythign that come with being half a world away

everyone goes to whistler..dont get me wrong the glacier is always a fun time, but i spent two weeks in wanaka this summer and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life..not only is the skiing better, but the culture you experience etc, is way more memorable than whistler would be

hey nz is pretty sweet, but i ve jsut been to a crappy ski field and its been the worst winter for years so i cant really judge skiing down there

Where were you? its spring skiing now, so most fields are getting pretty shitty.

I would say if you could only go to one, go to Canada. The features are bigger, the snow is better (and more reliable.) But if you are able to go to NZ in the summer do go, they get some sick snow occasionally.

WORST WINTER?!?!?!?!? Yo uhave got to be kidding. THis has been their best winter in over 15 years. So, I don't know where you went, but it sure wasn't new zealand.

Plus, in New Zealand, if you get hurt, all the costs are covered under ACC. Pretty much like Canada.

If you come to NZ, you will want to stay in Wanaka, and hit up Snowpark with all the best pros in the world, and then Trebble Cone. Both of them are sweet as. Cadrona is also cool, but not nearly as fun as Treble Cone and Snowpark.

No doubt man. Past winter in Wanaka was THE SHIT. I ate so much powder I still find snowflakes when flossing my teeth. And riding at Snowpark, Treble Cone, Remarkables... the heliskiing... so fucking sick.
