Skiing by yourself

i ski sooo much better by myself. I always land new tricks when im alone but i have no proof of landing so it becomes a claim.
 
its actually kinda nice sometimes. you get to go at your own pace and crank your music. but groups are better 90% of the time
 
none of my friends ski so i just travel arounf to the hills near by ( within2 hours) and ski with myself and about 90% of the time i meet someone new and we session all day good way to meet people.

hint for a good ice breaker on the lift: So newschoolers eh?
 
Before I skied park I almost always skied by myself. I will ride with people but I am always wanting to just ski as much as I can and hit every rail I can and I can't stand waiting on people so I generally lose the group.
 
Yesterday I did it at Breck for the first time this season, and I have to admit I felt pretty lonely. I didn't ski as fast or as good as if I were skiing with my boys.
 
Can u guys do it because i feel stupid without anyone else with me i feel the same way to be completely onest sorry for spelling
 
The genius that groups can hit the singles lines but go in single file and wait for eachother for a chair or two at the top of the lift.............
 
best days are when the parks dead theres no one but you there, and u have your music on the go, no worries of what people are saying or dewing or thinking your just skiing for the love of it and no worries. but when the slops are packed its far more fun to be in a group.
 
It's nice to be alone with your thoughts sometimes, like running. I prefer to be with friends in the park, though. We push each other more to do stupid shit; we help each other when we can't stick it.
 
i do it whenever my 2 ski friends can't go up which is like always..i usually just ski runs and hike jibs.. i rarely go on jumps unless im w/ someone, then if that's the case that's all i do..it's fun though, u meet new people and stuff
 
It is nice to ride with friends at times, but it is also nice to just go and do your own thing and work on what you what you want to work on.
 
I always ski with 2 friends, but skiing alone can actually be pretty fun. You block everything out with music, hop in the 1 person line, meet randon weird people on the chair, try new stuff in the park. It's a good break
 
i usually end up doing that, just crank the ipod and focus on what you wanna do

but its alot more fun with a good size group of friends..especially when one is a designated film bitch with a vx2100
 
i cant rip alone, i need at least one or two people of my crew to ski with. at least theres always one person i know at southington, seeing that i know almost everyone
 
I enjoy skiing alone, with just me and my music its so peaceful. Plus I dont have to follow or worry about anyone else, i can go where i want to go no questions asked.
 
i feel kind of lame if i go alone but if i have an issue or something i'll do it But if i'm just out to have fun i like to go in groups. its going to be fun if you want to make it fun regardless if you go lone ranger stas or squad skiing, bassically skiing is skiing no matter what.
 
I love doing it, don't have to keep up or wait on anybody. You can just ski at your own pace where you want and when you want.
 
i always get better when im skiing with people

they pressure you into doing something you might not no you could do

skiing alone is fun and relaxing

but park sessions are better in crews
 
it's nice sometimes, like on powder days, but it can get lonely after awhile. Overall I'd rather ski with 1-2 other people
 
i love all skiing. skiing by myself isn't quite as much as a party as skiing with my homedawgs, but get my nugs, my tunes and its an important time for me to focus on what i want to do with my riding.

 
its good sometimes... gives u a chance to actually listen to music without having to take one earphone out just to hear what someones saying
 
I'm perfectly comfortable with skiing alone. No need to wait up for anyone at the lift, get to take the singles line, way less bait while ducking ropes, get to blast tunes.
 
i do it all the time, its just a chance for me to be with me, good for pickin up chicks...
