Skiing at U of O

Looking at colleges to apply for. I'm stuck between CU and Oregon. Skiing is a HUGE part of my choice, I am from Colorado and know how great CU is for skiing. I will be visiting the Campus very soon and was wondering what is Skiing like in Eugene. Obviously it is a drive to the mountains butttt

What is the drive like?

Are there good skiers that go to Oregon?

is skiing big in Eugene?

What are the mountains like?

what are the party's like?

anything helps

peace

The drive is shit no matter which mtn you decided to ride at 1.5 hrs to W pass, 2.5-3hrs to bachelor and about 3ish to hood, it's a school of 20k i'm sure there are a few good skiers, not that big, there are no mountain around eugene, big. that being said i hated living in eugene.

I'm from oregon and actually decided between the same two schools, they were the only two i applied to and went to CU for two years and transferred back to UO for my last two. Skiing was the biggest choice in my decision but after living in boulder for two years I was definitely ready to be back skiing in oregon. I skied 60 days a years every year of school, both in oregon and boulder. There are people who want to rip in eugene you just have to find them. And bachelor is the way to go. So overall, I got in just as much skiing, a lot more snow and a lot less people in my two years at UO than i did in two at CU.
