Skiing at Bucknell?

I just asked a similar question about Tufts. I am not going to do a whole thread for every college I am looking at, but Tufts and Bucknell aren't typical ski schools so I figured I would do one for them. Anybody know anything about skiing at Bucknell? Whats close, is it popular, etc. Thanks

Since you seem to be considering some pretty rigorous and top tier schools, I would recommend you do not factor into your college choice unless you absolutely can't live without skiing.... Going to a school like that you are going to want to get the best grades possible and thats going to take a huge chunk of your time. You should choose a school based around what educational opportunities it has to offer and how does that correlate to your future aspirations and goals.

I would personally just work really hard during school, go be social and have fun. When you get home from school just literally ski as much as possible. I am sure you will have opportunities every once in a while to do some weekend trips but depending on your studies.

Good luck OP

Thanks for your thoughtful answer. I am by no means looking at schools based on skiing. If that were the case I would apply to university of Utah and Colorado and be done with it all lol. It was more a question out of curiosity....if there happens to be other skiers where I am, then I know I'll have some like minded people. And skiing would also be a perk if two schools are really similar for example. Overall though, I know I won't have much time during the school year to ski (want to do engineering) so it has not factored into my school decisions besides just curiosity. Thanks for the response though. Have a good one
