yo so whats the deal with you kids? fuck, you always talk shit about snowboarders...snowboarders respect skiers, especially freestyle skiers, and they dont really care what the fuck kind of boots you have on your feet. some of my best friends are skiers, and some kids that i hate with my entire heart ski, and i dont talk shit about either of them. in fact, i think fs skiing is way steezier than snowboarding, so just lay off.

i know theres going to be a lot of shit talk in reply to this, but i really dont care what you say, so dont waste your breathe.
 
Snowboard is awesome, and I think 99% of the people on here know that, BUT, you have to be good. There are tons of great snowboarders out there, and they get me stoked for their sport, but then again, I think most people are annoyed with the gaper type snowboarders. They pretty much do it because it's cool.
 
I agree. I snowboard a little bit, and spinning is mad fun. Powder is awesome too.

But skiing will still be my true love.

Skiers should try snowboarding before they diss it.
 
I snowboard and i tried a little bit of skiing a little rail and its pretty tough. Both are awesomo
 
the war betweeen snowboarders and skiers is over. it only exists between the prep ski racers and the poser boarders witch both sports i am sure are not porud of
 
bro, nobody intelligent talks shit about snowboarders anymore. the war ended a decade ago. People only have issues with posers, and that goes for both sports.

there's still alotta hate from snowboarders towards skiers. Especially from people who dress like they ride for technine. I freakin love technine movies and their crew but its always the snowboarders with the jerseys, bandanas, and open jackets that talk shit on skiers.
 
maybe around where you live but only the real fag snowboarders talk shit about skiers, those "poser technine" you will find a lot of them are pretty chill, at least here, none of them talk any shit about skiers

Both are pure...You and the snow...No points, no team, just enjoyment.. and if you can respect each other as riders it makes the sport that much better. Each of you are out there to make the best of the snow and if you get pissed cuz one has a board and hte other has sticks then you're not a worthy of calling yourself a skier or a snowboarder. Plus you lose respect from someone who is. So if your caught up in being a bitch to a boarder or a boarder bitching bout a skier...fuckin get real kid... enjoy the company of someone who enjoys the season as much as you.. but for the record snowboarders bitch so much about skiers. And allyou who say snowboarders and steezy and hardcore...try controlling both your legs and controling your grabs while grasping to poles and landing completly backwards...in my books as long as your out there to ride and have fun who gives a shit about whats on your feet..........ski?snowboard? have fun

Zipp up your coats put your helmet on and ride.
 
Alot of people i ride with are boarders but now and again they do talk shit on skiers but mostly they respect us all.

One more thing to say, would some ski company hurry up and take some intrest in Brit skiers, cause alot of snowboard companies have branched out to over here and are sponsoring younger riders with potential
 
respect for either sport is different whereever you go, in my school its actually about 75 % snowboarders, 20% racer/gaper skiers and 5% freestyle skiers
 
ya my best friend is a boarder and we push each other and i dont like to make fun of any kids cause it is just mean and think you were like that and if you were and started out all cool looking well then you were a poser so everyone is something that somebody makes fun of and yes snowboarding is was fun i go everyonce in a while when i swap with friends fun stuff so dont diss
 
I agree. There are bad apples on both sides. The problem is, people have a tendency to categorize too easily. If a skier cuts another skier off, they say "that asshole," whereas if it is a snowboarder, they say "that asshole snowboarder." We are all guilty of this occasionally, whatever we strap to our feet. The key is, to try to see who the person is, not how they go down the hill. Someone who is an asshole snowboarder would also be an asshole on skis. For the most part, living at squaw I found nothing but respect from both sides. No one I knew gave anyone else shit(except jokingly) for what they chose to do. I think most of us respect people whatever they ride. If you are cool with me, I am cool with you. I respect your decision to snowboard as long as you respect my decision to ski.
 
the problem is there are a whole bunch of 12 and 13 year olds that hate on boarders cause they think its cool, they hate on beginers in the park when there not a lot better than the beginers them selfs. Most of the people i go skiing with are boarders, they can rip and they dont hate on skiers, so why would i hate on boarders
 
I have no issue with the snowboarders that actually try and do their sport because they like it. Its the gapers that do it because they think its cool that bug me. They clog up the park and screw shit up for everybody else. If you arent one of those people I dont have a problem, I wont try snowboarding, I choose to respect without ever understanding it
 
I personally think snowboarding is wayy sicker thank skiing...oops probably should be supporting skiing here.
