My school sucks. When I tell people I ski they have no fuckin clue, me and my four friends are the only crew of jibbers in my school, everyone else is real skeptical about skiing and only think snowboarding is cool. The good snowboarders in our school know whats up, but the rest are idiots. Anyone else have it the same?

at my school theres only like maybe 8-10 or so guys who jib and stuff but alot of people are opeminded to it and think its cool

 
i havent found any other kids yet who jib. there are some snowboarders bt thats it. i havent skiied with someone else who jibs till today at mtn creek with lineskinj..saw him there it was cool

at my school i am the ONLY one that skis. and whenever i tell people i do they laugh, or are like why dont u snowboard. And if thats not bad enough, sometimes i get made fun of for loving skiing so much, not only doing it

If some snowboarder makes fun of you because of skiing, say that the good boarders respect skiing, shitty ones dont.

99% of my school either skis or snowboards. no problems there.

me too dont worry. and when we have backyard sessions kids say 'oh you ski in ur backyard... do you have a big enough hill??' they think we are carving down a mountain or something. gosh i hate when kids dont understand.

Pretty simular at my skool, theres about 10 people who are into it, and probly 40 at our mountain who are into trick skiing, the rest are snowboarders. Its a tight crew tho.

i haven't discovered too many kids at my school who jib but i could guesstimate that 5 kids do it. maybe more, but certainly less than 10.

there's a huge population of racers/snowboarders at school to talking to ppl about skiing is no prob...it'd be a whole lot more fun to have some more fellow jibbers tho

Im the only one that jibs in my school, we have a couple of not bad snowboarders but they are fucking stupid, oh but theres one guy who jibs, he doesnt realy jibs, but he like hits jumps and stuff, but he doesnt know his stuff at all and hes a total jerk. So I guess we are the suckyest sucks that ever sucked.

oh and when I tell someone that I ski, they either think I race or do areals like in the olympics. Fuckin anoying. And the snowboarders have no respect for what I do and everyone is like 'Dude why dont you snowblade?' Fucking anoying.

naw man last year i was the only freestyle skier at my school so i showed up some snowboarders and now there part of the little crew and this year a couple of my friends took up freestyle skiing so now theres a total of 3 freestyle skeirs at my school

Last year there were only 3 people woul i would clasify as freeskiers. there were a few racers who did both ocasionally, but were mostly into the racing. But since we were the cool kids in the school everyone respected the skiing. i only ever got shit from hot girls in grade 10 on ski trips, then i just showed them up and they understood how cool it was. We also converted a snowboarder to skiing. it was pretty sweet.

i actually think that im the only kid at Bishop's university who is on this site. I know of 2 other kids who ski, but i dont think they are on here.

yah, no one at my school jibs, and the majority off snowboarders are fucking richass poser bitches, who always make up stories. If everything they said is true 99% of my school boards and 'Catches HUGE air' or has broken a board right betweent their legs landing on a rail, so watch out for LincolnSudbury to take over snowboarding, or just keep making up shit

i feel for u man like even though there my friends they bug the fuck outa me for freeskiing cept when i came with them and showed them up that was great 2 of them changed 2 skiing and i got 2 of my friends who dont ski 2 come 2 skiing who where gonna go into snowboardin

a bunch of people at my school jib, and some people are picking up skiing instead of snowboarding. the boarders are really cool too, adn people know whats up in general. i have it pretty good
