Skiing and numbers...

Its funny how certain numbers appear to be cool from time to time in our industry. Certain numbers come to represent styles, attitudes and groups. 8 - 10 years ago the number 13 was dominant in ski culture. Poor Boys Productions, Team 13.com, come to mind. Today it seems 9 represents the gangster movement. Ninthward, 4bi9, block 9, etc. What is it about these or any other numbers that seem to define a generation of skiers?

i'm pretty sure it's because of this gangster movement, and the fact that most real gangsters carry 9mm guns. it's a big number in pretty much everything related to gangs now. hell, you watch the news now, and the reporters don't even say "9mm pistol" anymore, they just say 9, so gangst.

dude i think your clocks wrong its 4:01 im assuming you live in the east but that would make it 7:01 so your clocks off or mine is

It's just coincidence. All of those companies you named have something different that represents the 9. Ninthward is because of the 9th Ward of New Orleans. 4bi9 is 9mm. Block 9.. well, I've never even heard of it.

I don't know about 13, the only people who really rep that are vatos and greasers and I don't think many of either of those groups ski.

Of course the only numbe that really matters is 420.
