Skiing, and Hockey Dilemma

ok so heres the thing, i used to play hockey and gave it up for skiing cause i cant ski year round and i liked it more than hockey, but i really want to play hockey again, heres the big thing i realized. i will only want to play hockey in high school, cause i dont plan on going to college, and if i play i will probally be on JV, and sit for most of the varsity games, which will fucking piss me off, then i will get pissed at the coach and flip shit on him, the coach isnt a cool guy, more of a prick, what should i do, play, or not
 
to me, it seems like this kinda depends on what grade you will be going into. if youll be a senior, dont play. playing jv and sitting for varsity sucks (trust me i did it all last year). if you still have a few years left of high school, then give it another shot. personally, i went through the same thing earlier this year. ill be a senior and i didnt make varsity (i know, im not that good), but i was still supposed to practice with them so i decided not to play. its better to have free weekdays after school then to work your ass off just to sit on the bench.
 
If it takes away the fun aspect from hockey then don't do it. I could have played rugby this year but decided to work on my skiing instead because I knew I would be 2nd string (which I hate being) so I would say yeah go ski and make you game on the snow dirty.
 
you can still play hockey. Ya just got to get a group of people together to play some pond puck every few times a week and that is way more fun than all that competetive stuff in my opinion.
 
well i play on 2 teams and still am able to get about 30 days of skiing in. it's tough, but if your really want it, it is definitly doable.
 
happened to me to...i chose skiing. you cant play hockey and ski/board around here if you get caught you're fucked. pretty stupid school rule, kids break it all the time
 
I'm going into grade 11 this year and I am not playing hockey anymore, I haev played for 7 years and I just am done with it, I just want to ski all the time now.
