I have a friend at sierra nevada. Also look at U Nevada Reno. beyond that, I know people at UC Boulder and U Montana Boseman that ski a lot. There are a lot of other colleges out there as well.

sierra nevada is a joke of a school - if you actually want an education, don't go there

do you prefer park or powder?

western state college in Gunnison, CO....its thirty minutes from Crested Butte, the school is way chill, theres endless backcountry potential, and theres way more to do than just ski....

boulders AT LEAST 1hr and 30 from good skiing(breck, keystone, others, eldora is like 30 min away i think(not as good)

I go to UVM and its a really nice school, i ski at sugarbush, stowe and jay

messege me if you have any questions

Theres a good section in the latest transworld snowboarding on this matter. I'm in the same situation as you and I'm looking at either Boulder or Reno or even University of BC.

and more, much more than this, I did it my way

'So you're a skier?'

'No, I prefer to refer to myself as a double boarder'

Why boulder or ubc....either way youre over an hour and a half to skiing and in UBC you gu ys are getting shit for snow...so many better chioces

the best choice is no education, but this is the real world

i think it is because i grew up in boulder...but i HATE it when people call it UC Boulder. It just sounds wrong.

just out of curiosity, if you grew up in boulder, why'd you leave to go to UPS? i'd think boulder would be way better than tacoma

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

University of Utah-20-40 minutes from 7 dope resorts, the best snow in the universe.....

ninthward is making some skis and maybe fucking some shit up on the side, and i love it.

why is everyone stoked on boulder? anybody that says boulder obviously has never been to boulder itself....its just like what was said up above, its AT LEAST an hour and a half to any decent skiing....Eldora sucks, and Loveland is only really good on a powder day. Theres a lot better choices than CU.

^ besides, theres been a whole bunch of drinking related deaths here in CO lately, and they're cracking down on drinking big time at CU

i think there's a university in washington state thats like 1 hour from baker, wish i had went there baker usually gets dumped on

dude go to utah. best snow in the west. sick bigmountain skiing and sick park skiing. also there is so much to do. tons of camping, hiking, biking, really anything outdoors. also you can travel easily. the airport is 10 minutes from campus snowbird is 22 miles, pc is 30. at the most it takes 40 minutes to be skiing after class. also tons of kids come to utah to ski or ride, and the dorms are the dopest in the country. well they are better than CU at least. rent is SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN BOULDER TOO. i couldn't believe what people were paying there.

basicly, if you want to go to a school where school and partying are you #1 priorities then go to boulder, it will save more snow for us. if you want to have a truely unique college experience go to utah. also it isn't as hard as CU. it is good and can be hard at utah if you want, or you can just breeze through like i did take 5 years and ski, travel, party, camp, and actualy enjoy college. trust me once you are out you will want to go back.

T GOT SCREWED IN PIPE!!

Ninthward skis are sick.
Buy First Light.

i like ........ i like a lot of stuff

uni of utah i have heard is sick n real close to a lot ot mtns. also use the search bar to look at a lot of other forums on this
