Uof U is so easy. I got a 3.5 last semester without even trying very hard plus I ski 8 daays a week, I'm taking a ski mountineering class and avalanche class next semester, need I say more?

you could go to western state in CO, which is about 20 minutes from Crested Butte and its super easy to get into

^utah is sick, but CO is way better than tahoe. where have you skied in CO to make that conclusion??

i like UNR a lot. it's kind of a drive to ski though. 40 min. to the closest resort, an hour and you can get to squaw, alpine, boreal, north star, etc. the campus is really pretty. reno is a shitty little city though

UNR CAMPUS PRETTY???? ARE YOU FUCKING ME? hahahahah, unr is in the heart of fucking reno, nevada. fucking shit, reno creeps me out, thats why i didn' choose that school. i went to the circus circus for my buddy's 21st birthday party and there was a MIDGET CONVENTION going on and i was so stoked on it, that was almost the deciding factor for me going to UNR but then i was like 'waiiiit....THIS TOWN BLOWS!' so i decided to go to western washington and i love it there.

In colorado I've skied; winterpark, A-Basin, Copper. I think Colorado is decent but it's a lot of groomers. The parks are pretty nice but it just have a lot of good big mountain style shit(that i've seen) and they get less snow. theres plenty of people here in utah that used to live in Colorado and they say it's better here. I just hear tahoe terrain is good I've only skied mammoth personally

northern universtiy in michigan is near marquette

michigan tech is near mount bohemia(pretty wicked ive heard)

Save Sugar Loaf! It's our resort, not just real estate.

go to montana state university, really nice campus, easy to get into, and some great programs. Really good skiing also.

well thats pretty tough because my hand is a lot sexier than many females-NewSkool450

The main one, Bozeman. It is about 20 min from bridger bowl, which has great powder and great prices, and about 55 min from big sky resort, which is a huge destination resort. Not to mention the campus is beautiful.

college and skiing don't mix. I am in my 6th year and will barely graduate. I came in from a private school and got good grades. Now I don't care about school I care about skiing, on the days I go to class I go night skiing, but mostly just skip school and go skiing. I buy books late and then slowly sell them back through the sememster for money for skiing. I quit my job b/c of skiing (and having to work on christmas eve and new years eve) and have been living off of selling my possessions on ebay.

Long story short go to CMC in the mountains of CO. They have a couple different campuses and then you can transfer to whatever school you want. I wish that is what I would have done (I go to csu)

^College and skiing don't mix?????? What the shit are you talking about? I'm in my 6th year of college (minus a 2 year break....so 4th really) as well and I must disagree with you. I ski 100 days a season and pull at least a 3.0 every semester. In fact, I just had my best semester yet. When I first started college I was on the East coast and fucked around a lot more and never went to class. After a couple years of school I said 'fuck it' and moved West and it was the best decision I've ever made. Now I go to class everyday, have a whole new appreciation for learning, and do better academically than ever.

And on the thread topic.......Western State College is mad easy to get into.

yeah Montana State University is WAY EASY to get into. They have this 'Extreme Application' that doesnt need any letters of reccomendation, and you dont have to have good SAT scores, neither do you have to have good grades...i think you're automatically in if you have 2.5 or something. They tell you if you're in like the next day. aweseome ski town too
