Skiing alone

honestly skiing alone is the worst concept ever. Its so boring on the lifts, and its fun when theres a mega possie. If you have friends who are equal in skill then waiting up for em isn't a problem. I never ski alone.

How is it boring on the lifts? You get to meet new people every ride, that's part of the fun. You never know, someone you meet on the lift might turn out to be a lifelong friend.

I love skiing alone. If you're stressed out about something and need to unwind there's nothing better than a day of solo laps. Plus its kind of nice to go at your own pace and ski wherever you want to go. Skiing with friends is a ton of fun too obviously, but I think the fact that you can ride solo and still have a blast is one of the great things about our sport.

Have you ever gone skiing alone or always with friends?

And if your in a Group would you welcome someone to join you for the day? Or have you ever ask someone if you could join them?

Both! Either I ski alone or with friends. I'm still enjoying though! It's just that it's more costly when I'm with friends. :D

Last season I skied by myself a lot because I was working as a ski instructor and in a ski shop doing 12 hour days as well as sharing a room! Skiing alone gave me time to chill out, clear my head and progress my skiing in a way I couldn't have done otherwise. Because I worked on the hill I often found people I know all over the place and would do a few runs with them then say goodbye!

Skiing can be whatever we need/want it to be which is one of a million reasons why it's so amazing!

To me they're two completely different experiences. When I ski with my friends I like to get silly in the park but I prefer to ski the trees in fresh alone, nothing is more head clearing than that.
