is it worth going skiing alone??, I might go skiing at sunday river tomorow, but I would go alone. SHould I go?, I have a season pass so it wont cost any money, and I dont really know anyone up there, or anyone who can go skiing tomorow.( anyone going skiing at Sunday River tomorow, who likes staying in jib and park??
 
Just go, maybe bring some music with you if you like with skiing. I love it sometimes to be alone skiing, just relaxing, nobody talking your ears off your head, etc. Besides that you can focus way more on your skiing self...
 
Yeah I ski alone quite a bit. Just take some tunes and meet people while you're up there. Lap the park with a few people then introduce yourself. Most kids are pretty chill.
 
i really enjoy skiing aloneits nice sometimesbe careful though, a kid i knew died last year dropping a cliff while he was skiing alonejust dont do anything to extreme
 
bring music for sure and just go exploring all over the place. or stay in the park and meet some kids or something.
 
Dude you just described my past weekend. Alone, New gear, and super stoked to be skiing!

It's kinda depressing to ride the lift alone (when people are gay and dont want to ride with people they dont know) but its tight to meet people, and you can really hammer down some new tricks. Go! Skiing is Skiing. Skiing with people just enhances its greatness.
 
its better than not skiing because at least you wont be dying to go. for me when i ski alone i can usually only go a couple hours at most before i get bored.
 
ya i agree skiing alone can def be relaxing, i love skiing alone sometimes and just taking some chill runs after a long weekend or something
 
A couple years ago I found myself skiing by myself like 70% of the time because not too many people skied weekdays. When I was a kid I loved skiing by myself, and since I did quite a bit, I can't stand skiing in big groups. It can be enjoyable skiing with like one or two other people, but skiing by yourself can be quite nice. It's crazy how many of you kids can't fuckin stand it.
 
i ski alone a lot when my homies dont go out. i usually like dick around butters and show kids up. ill wait at the top of features and wait for noobs to go down thinking their hot shit and do the rail or box and then ill just do something 10 times better.
 
just don't mean mug and make friends up there dude, skiing alone is pretty fun cause you can go as fast or slow as you want too
 
i only do it like once season, but wenever i ski alone its really peaceful and pretty fun. i just listen to music and cruise through the park without having to wait for anyone and make any stops. after all, its still skiing. try it
 
One should be able to have fun skiing alone.... otherwise why would you ski?? I never like to talk to people anyways. Shred mode is shred mode.
 
i was head up to my hill alone and just meet people up there i never really knows whos gonna be up there so its kinda like a surprise party... haha
 
I like skiing even if I am alone but I am way more likely to do better and try new things with friends around. My last few weeks last season I skied alone for the most part and it just felt stagnant like I wasn't learning anything new.
 
i know what your saying. it was my first year last year and i didnt know like anybody at my hill then i met some other skiers and singlebladers and riding with them helped my progress so much. i wasnt learning anything before i met them. but skiing alone somedays is fun and relaxing
 
I used to only go skiing when ever i knew somebody else was going but recently i actually realized skiing alone is really fun. Its kinda like you are pushing yourself to do bigger and better things instead of having someone else do that for you.
 
i've personally never skied alone. i find it great that i have a brother a grade older and a bunch of friends who ski. but, i could imagine it being either really filthy or really weak
 
i love skiing alone. but i always end up riding with someone. everyone knows everyone at my mt.
 
man skiing alone can be sweet u get time to think and relax and get away from everyday life...listen to some good music and just have a good time
 
i went skiing alone last weekend for the first time ever pretty much. it was actually really cool, take music for sure and SHRED.
 
i ski by myself quite a bit, and i have no problem with it. good time to crank the tunes and just flow the park. i wouldnt reccomend doing any difficult big mountain stuff or b/c though, because its straight dangerous without a buddy.
 
i like skiing alone. its fun to meet new people. i even had some guy (who was like 40 and married) give me his number and tell me to call him next time I was skiing.

i like skiing alone because u can meet new people and it is easier for me to concentrate and try new things and if i fall my friends cant laugh at me and i like to go on trails that i like.personally i like skiing alone
 
whenever i go skiing with my family i almost always end up skiing by myself for a lot of the day cuz they are somewhat noobs haha. i personally love skiing by myself cuz you just get in the groove and you're not waiting on anybody and you can just chill and not care about anything. i dont really like skiing park by myself though, its always nice to have people pushing you and egging you on a bit.
 
I did it today, single lines and your iPod make it alllll better. Go at your own pace and forget about your weeks problems, soo relaxing
 
same i love skiing alone. i also love skiing with people that are alot better than me, they push me to get better, i sorta feed off them i guess. but its all good.

i dont like skiing with people who suck though, thats just no fun. like its fun once in a while to teach one of your friends who's never skiied before because watching them eat shit is real funny. but it gets annoying quick.

im always meeting new ppl when i ski alone.
 
i try to only do it when im skiing groomers and shit and there are a lot of people around in case something weird happens and i need help. i mean nothing has ever happened, but there's always a chance right? i like skiing trees alone sometimes, but it can be kinda sketchy. youre pretty much fucked if you have a freak accident and nobody is with you to help.
 
I like skiing alone sometimes...it's soothing because you don't have to go where people wanna go or anything and just go where you wanna go and do what you wanna do.
 
dude, I always ski by myself (or with people i dont know) and i hav heeps of fun. I guess being a social outcast might contribute to that but Skiin is skiing is skiing

i took a trip to whistler alone. best trip i've ever had in my life.

and i drive up to my local resort alone quite often.
 
i really love taking laps with new people as long as they go at a similar pace to me, it doesnt matter if they're wayyyyyyy better then me ( i do feed off of it and try new stuff alot more often) or way worse then me, i actually really like giving people tips and pointers where i can as long as i'm not stuck skiing with someone all day i enjoy teaching people new things.
