Find a hard top somewhere! They're everywhere online and in junk yards. The hard top is so much better in the winter. I would hate using my soft top in the snow. Definitely worth it and they aren't too expensive

whatttt haha i can't find them for shit and they only ones i find are like thousands of dollar haha

Hell yeah man! You'll be so much happier with it. Let me know if you need help with the roof rack!

wow i want a hard top for 400 :(

i got so damn lucky man. Found it on ebay and it just so happened to be pick up only and an hour from me. Showed up today and offered him 350 and he took it. Windows are already tinted too. Very fortunate for a deal like that and is going to make my ski bum life of sleeping in my jeep some nights much more enjoyable haha

Ive got a 2 door tj sport and I'm trying to figure this out too. I think you can buy something that holds the skis and the back of the jeep (sorta like a gondola) so i am going to look into that.

So mines got the Yakima landing pads, Yakima control towers, and Yakima crossbars. I've got the Yakima fatcat connected to it. I'd get the correct rack setup first and install that. The part that holds the skis are usually pretty easy to find on Craigslist or from someone for cheap.

I'll most likely have to wait on the roof rack now. Put my hard top on today and my upper doors are right. Now I have to buy the rounded upper door slider Windows. Sucks haha

Jeep unlimited people....how does it ride on the highway? I know its not supposed to be a luxury sedan quality ride....but i see them all the time around. I was looking into getting one potentially and haven't had a chance to test drive one. I do a lot of high speed country road / highway driving so not sure if it really makes sense to even look at one.

I think most of the annoyance for me is my soft top flapping but anything over 85 gets kinda sketchy

Yea thats my biggest reason to stray away. I would 100% get the hard top but I cruise at 75+ almost every day. I don't want to be lagging behind in traffic. Want something that can cruise decently without ridiculously high rpm's at around 90ish.

Yeah definitely a lot of fun but probably not what would fit you best especially with the engine in the jeeps right now i have an 07' two door and my family has a '14 four door and you can really tell the difference
