Skiers wear shit that snowboard wears.

helly had a bunch of little shit go wrong with it (zippers not staying shut, hood straps pulling out, buttons not working zippers coming undone while riding), orage shit got ripped to shreds, and im not abusive, but i dont baby the shit either, i walk on the bottom of my pants but oh theres a leather strip there to keep it from ripping, i've fallen on rails hard, yet there no rail burns or paint marks, and after 2 seasons and washings i've only used nikwax once, so yes i am quite pleased with holden
 
okay i dont know if people will agree with me but

personally i dont like it either, and also dont like the jackets/pants that have their company logo in big text as their design, if their skiers or even snowboarders. For skiers it just looks weird and for snowboarder i just dont like it either, just looks weird, are you their advertiser???

and dont tell me to not hate. Its what I think, Is there something wrong with that? The thread creater had her own opinions, we all have our opinions, and we cant do anything about that. We cant make our brains operate without them. AND IN FACT!!! for those who are making fun of the thread creater, you dont realize but if your making fun of her for hating, your basically hating too.

 
I bought a Burton jacket 3 years ago when I knew nothing about winter sports.

It's not a bad jacket (ok it's a shell) but I can't wait till the replacement arrives.

i dont think i wear a single piece of ski wear when i ride or otherwise for that matter

holden, grenade, airblaster...all companies that are way more into what i like to do than fucking oakley or some shit. my holden pants are only 10k but goddamn they feel like pajama pants . i wear them around the house.

and dont ever hate on airblaster. fucking nicest people around for sure. definitely do what they want to do and its funny because they are probably the least likely people to care what you have to say.

Personally I love burton outerwear, they have a huge selection, with so many combos its really cool...I've never been a big fan of your traditional "ski" brand outerwear companies...the only ski brand outerwear i have is Oakley and thats goggles...

but its really what everyone prefers...if you are skier and you like burton/grenade/neff...thats awesome (btw...neff rocks)...if you are a boarder who likes oakley/spyder/dna any of the ski brands...thats cool too...its all what the rider likes :)
 
if you haven't noticed airblaster definitely doesnt cater to the general ski/snowboard community. who the fuck would want to wear a fanny pack on their leg and pterodactyls all over their fucking jacket?

luckily for them, alot of people do like their stuff because it is different.

Why does it matter what other people wear while skiing? I don't know about anyone else but I go to the mountain to ski not to judge what other people are wearing.

I wear burton's 08 superpipe glove. Why? Because I have pretty big hands and grenade (and most others) is not always a good fit.

A lot of snowboarding gear is good quality. Burton gloves are a good buy all around.

As long as you can bomb the mountain and love every minute of it then who gives a shit what you are wearing. I ski for myself, not the commercial skier stereotype
 
hell i wear an airblaster jacket, its quality warm and the rep is a really nice guy here... n he gave it to me amazingly cheap. I personally think air blaster is a sick company and fuck outerwear is outerwear who the fuck cares who makes it.
 
there isnt really any "ski clothing" companys that are for free skiing its all racing and shit...the only ones are like oakley and maybe 686, those are 2 choices when snow boarders have like 10 skiers where what looks good who fuckin cares who its made bye
 
Snowboard stuff isn't that bad, if your gonna hate on clothing what about things like anon goggles or grenade gloves both "snowboarding brands" that tons of skiers wear
 
Aside from wearing snowboarding boots, i couldn't give less of a shit if i saw a skier in snowboard gear.

I have Burton pants, because they're snowpants and i like how they look.
