yeah theres really not that much controversy, just with the snowboarders who can't even board but still talk shit

I mainly snowboard, although I ski occassionally, but I am married to a hardcore skier. People joke about us all the time and wonder how we get along on the hill, but I've never had a problem and obviously my husband doesn't either.

most of the skiers who hate snowboarders are the old people who see them as wreckless hoodlums who fly around the mountain running into people. If they knew enough to identify park skiers from normal skier they'd probably hate us too. I guess within the park there's sometimes been rivalry, but haven't really seen it in a while.

I love the rivalry part, but that doesnt mean i wont ski with a boarder. Its just friendly compatition. It helps both sport progress.
