Im sorry if theres already a thread of this, i just joined the forum like 2 seconds,

Well today at Geln eden i was hitting the jumps and on the last one i had too much speed and overshoot the landinding and landed flat, landed on my ars and then got flipped, my pole got stuck under my ski and i straightened my ski pulling harshly on my thumb. My thumb hurt and still hurts like a bitch, i went on the net and found out through pictures and research that i had skiers thumb ( strain or break of the ucl legiment i think?

Has anybody had this before and what did u do to treat it??

Thanks,

Nick

usually happends when falling, its a fracture. well actual skiers thumb is a fracture, a hairline ine. so you might want to go to the doctor

i got the worst skiers thumb i have ever had right now. i never knew a thumb could hurt this fucking bad

i have the worst skiers thumb ever, i always thought it was just sprained, it only hurts if i fall on it now but there isnt to much mobility left.

ive had skiers thumb happen abotu 15 times, and i lost all ligaments connecting my thumb to my hand, so my suggestion, boxing gloves

i have skiers thumb. the doctors don't know if it is broken or just sprained. i can move it but when i put even a little pressure on it, the pain comes back. any suggestions, broke or just sprained.

safe to say my thumb is way swollen and black and blue

man skiings fun

I hear 'glen eden' in milton ontario is going to be the next blue mountian. The hill is so big and the jumps are huge with tons of rails and crazy features. I'm moving to Milton village to ride there soon.

wow, that happened to me like 3 years ago and my thumb was swollen for like 3 or 4 weeks and hurt like a bitch, but I just thought i had jamed it or something

yeah i broke and tore my ucl in my thumb..luckily the tear was not bad enough to need surgery..but get it checked out..and ALWAYS get a second opinion..just trust me on that one...they put me in for surgery and it got better between then and the surgery and i got a second opinion..so no surgery needed
