Skiers outnumber snowboarders?

i think theres way more skiers, but as the park sence goes i might say snowboarders
how could snowboarding outnumber skiing?
skiing has been around longer and was embraced by a fuck ton of people before snowboarding blew up.
Snowboarding really wasn't even that big till 10 years ago. That was about the start of zomg snowboarding is kewl liek i want one.
Everybody and there drug addict grandma went out and bought one.
Park riding on the other hand really did outnumber skiing. Now It's pretty much equal. Twin tips blew up more recently. Before if you wanted to hit jumps you rode a snowboard or snowblades.
A lot of parks were snowboard only places. Used to get my oass pulled for hitting the halfpipe on skis at one mountain. A bunch of skiers would drop at the same time then jump the wallas and head for the lift line if patrol came up on snowmobiles.
At least now park skiing can enjoy the noobs that got twin tips for xmas because they saw the xgames and simon dumont and tanner hall were so kewl.
