Skiers edge applicable to park?

I think a ton of people fail to realize that your level of fitness plays a huge role in your level of skiing. Pro skier = Pro athelete.
 
yeah i started to train a lot harder for baseball and work out a couple times a week in the off season, and realized that it really affected my skiing, too
 
how about leg and core strength? i think it's more useful for backcountry than park.....

and altough you don't really "carve" in pow, the motions are very similar to carving on groomers....;
