Skiers aren't cool?

So in my school i am known for skiing cause i am always at the snow and always talking bout it. With park skiing you get your dress style. I dress in a way i like but is also related to skiing. So baggy clothes biggie talls tall tees the usual. But today i was with some people who said "hey you look like a snowboarder" and i was like haha nah i look like a skier and then for the next 10 minutes we argued about how skiers can look "gangster" but they said skiers aren't cool and can't look cool.does anyone else get this and get pissed off cause i hate it.
 
yea, i dont do tall tees and super baggy shit, but ive gotten comments on my outerwear. some gaper snowboarders ask me, oh so you dress like a snowboarder even though ur a skier??
 
It's not? Fuck I need to start snowboarding tomorrow, I need get cool immediately.

But yes I am always annoyed when people say that "skiers can't do sick stuff in the park"
 
obviously but can we handle being that cool and oozing the amount of style that comes with being a snowblader
 
Yeh i hate it cause skiing is progressing so fast and even though snowboarding is reaching new levels just watching thats it thats all shows that skiers are still shredding harder and with more style its like dont talk about what you have no fuckin clue about
 
talk is talk, tell them to sut their faces as you boost over their gaper heads. If they can boost bigger than you, then no, your not cool.
 
a bunh of kids in my german class were saying skiing in park is dumb and looks gay. so i whipped out my laptop and showed then henriks part in slamina then showed them wallisch in turbo and they all shut up haha...............then i got yelled at for not doing my work
 
thats whats up, i always pull out my ipod casue i got it on me. and i like well look at this.

im pretty sure everyone at my college thinks i snowboard. but fuck em.
 
yah i dont do tall tees either or anything, but my ski gear is pretty baggy and i tend to wear tall beanies in winter and everyone on my campus always assumes im a snowboarder...then the worst is when some kid who is just AWFUL at snowboarding tries to tell me that skiers cant ride park...ok bro, whatever you say, wanna play PIG next time i see you on the hill?
 
hahah there has been so many times where i go oh yeah i ski, and they go wtf really? you look like a snowboarder to me with your baggy clothes and crazy colors, it kinda pisses me off but then i realize the outside world is just ignant
 
people are starting to figure it out, i showed some of my buddies that skied as kids seven sunny days, they all have been buying gear and are all stoked to go shred

haha I don't have any video evidence, but I just tell people skiers slide down handrails and go off jumps like snowboarders do. People still think I snowboard though. If I get back from the hill with my ski boots on my feet and skis in hand, people still say "how was snowboarding today?"
 
Don't listen to those guys, any real snowboarder who actually follows the sport and who can throw down, knows that skiers are throwin shit down as well. Only a gaper would make a comment like that. I know that all the people at my local mountain that actually ride park and know what they are doin, ride together, skiers and snowboarders and they all get stoked off each other. Tell the kids to meet you up at the mountain and show em whats up.
 
Ahh fuck I hate when people associate you with a person who skis like slalom, they ask like "oh so you go in and out of the gates" or "can you stop like hockey players" then when you explain them that both ends of your skis are up it's like they've descovered a whole new universe and ask tons of questiosn
 
whenever i tell people i compete they nearly always assume i race. and when the know i do trix and jumpz, they think i snowboard! it makes me mad.
 
See this is a really good idea..if i lived close to the mountains. I live down in Aus and i have a 6 hour trip every-time to the snow. The thing is that i spent an entire season with some of the people who say im a snowboarder been in the park with them and skied all the time they see what other skiers look like and what they can throw down but because their boarders(shitty gaper boarders) they think that skiing cant be cool and then they make everyone else believe that which pisses me off cause i try in my school to get people into skiing and as pumped on it as i am which is hard cause most can't be fucked to go down their and these fucks just make people think that its a sport for tight lycra suits and old people and that you have to snowboard to do cool thingsfuck just wrote a novel.
 
I have a bunch of posters on my walls in my dorm room and skiers are clearly visible in all of them. People come into my room and say, "Sweet posters man! So do you snowboard?"
It's like what the fuck....? There are skiers in every one of those posters, what the fuck makes you think I snowboard?
And then when I say I ski some of them say, "Why don't you snowboard? Isn't that the cooler thing to do?"
I just don't get it....
 
those kids probably grew up watching tight pink race suit skiers.

'90s was snowboarding. now its pushing closer too skiing. maybe in 2020 everybody will be on sleds. who knows
 
The only people that think skiing isnt cool, are the people that dont know who the "newschoolers" are. They think all skiers are spandex clad homos that fuck with snowboarders. Truth is that skiers are taking over park/pipe/everything. Its blowing up so gapers and ignorant people will shut up soon
 
In my school, everyone who joins the ski club automatically snowboards because they don't know about newschool skiing. They think all skiing is like racing.
 
dood skiing isnt cool, waking up before the sun to hike a mountain and then slid down isnt cool, banging chicks and dunking a basketball is cool.....i never understood why people think skiing should be/is "cool"
 
theres this one kid at my school who is in my physics class that i fucking hate and his way of making fun of me is asking if i went skiing today or if he can go whit me next time. "look at me im peter and i skiiiiiii" i dont really take offense to him telling em i ski. or when he says "why dont you go ski". people are so stupid. and skiing isnt cool, snowboarding is duh. how did snowboarding get all this cool hype anyway?

i talk with a lot of boarders at my school and they are pretty chill and think skiing is pretty cool, but the kids who barely board and only do it because they think its cool are the ones who think skiing is gay and they are the ones that piss me off.
 
My school sucks hard. Nobody can stand on skis and not more on a snowboard so when i show up with my tall tee fat pants and my fucking long beanies their are like fish off water and they don't understood the sense of life ... I have a long tee that go just next my knees and everybody thnik its like a dress or a jacket, i always laught with my friend of people looking at me with big eyes. Skiing is more important that being cool as an hockey player or a snowboarder.
 
I KNOOOOW!! i have snowboarders tell me that skiing is gay and there not really snowboarders they go up about 3 times a year and wear gaper shit. Not enough of people still dont know about freeskiing it annoys me sometimes but maybe its a good thing...
 
Yeh exactly i have that except the few that are good snowboarders most are cocky and think their better than they are but the best one who is an amazing snowboarder Sam Griffiths(look him up) is so humble about it and such a chill guy who knows what skiers can do which is sick.but yeh those gapers fucken hell

And people say dumb shit all the time but I don't get angry. Usually it's just because they don't ski or snowboard. I don't think it makes you angry either, I think you like the attention and pretend to be mad.
