SKIERS ARE GAY FAGS!! SNOWBOARDERS ARE COOLER!!

This is basically what our mountain thinks about skiing.Ok, so i was recently informed that my mountain next year is having two of their peaks PARK ONLY. I was very stoked on hearing this, until i was informed that it will be SNOWBOARDERS ONLY!! This is when i took matters into my own hands and wrote this email to a guy from Intrawest who owns our mountain.....

Hello there, My name is Jason Evans, and i am 17 years old, and a freeskier at Mountaincreek. I am one among the many freeskiers at Mountaincreek. Our sport is becoming more and more popular each year. From the first time i clicked into my first twin tip skis three years ago, there was only a handful of us. But since then, there are more than i can count to sliding the rails, and hitting the jumps at creek all season long. I was informed that next year, South and Bear peak will be all park, and i was very excited on hearing this news becuase i thought "Great, no more taking "old betsy" all the way to granite then ski over to vernon for the park there." Then i heard some very disturbing news, that South will be for snowboarders only. To me, and to the many other freeskiers at Mountaincreek, this is devastating. Where are we supposed to enojoy ourselves now at Mountaincreek? With no more park for us to ski, we will most likely not go to Mountaincreek anymore. I am on a skiing internet forum, and in the forum there are a total of 208 freeskiers who ski at Mountaincreek. If this is true about park only at south, and only snowboarders allowed there, what will the 208 of us do? Thank you for reading this letter of concern. Cannot wait to hear back from you. Thank you.

It took a mountain in North Carolina about 5-6 years to lift their no snowbaording ban, but it is NC and the park started like that. and the park sucks anyways.

They might say it is insurance. If they do, it is bullshit. Skiing has less injuries than snowboarding. All they have to do is have a park pass with a safety video. You will have to email them again. Cite that almost no ski areas in the US/canada dont allow skiers in the parks. Ask what would happen to mammoth or breck if they didn't allow skiers in the park. Maybe say that it isn't 1996 anymore. It sounds like they are just trying to keep gapers out, but there are as many stupid snowboarders as skiers. Just ask for a park pass and everyone will be happy.

Yep. poach the park. Or walk up to the fag who decided that would be a good Idea and beat him into a bloody pulp. That may not open your park to skiers, but you should get some satisfaction out of it.

Realistically, as has been said, get a bunch of skiers to flood there inbox with long ass letters about how stupid it would be to make the park boarders only. You could even get some kids that don't ski there to write in and say they do, if you want to play a little dirty.

OR

If all else fails, poach the shit, as long as you can throw down well enough to get any of the gaper boarders that will undoubtedly bitch at you, to shut their mouths.

We have had a park pass for the past 4 years i think. I doubt its insurance, but i tihnk they are just trying to keep gapers out, like you mentioned. I'm an officer for our ski club, so I basically decide where we go. Mountain creek is a few hours away, and it would be a great place to bring a few dozen peope but if they pull that shit, no way! You can tell them that. And I will make sure no other schools around here make that mistake either.

i didnt read much of this thread, but i bet the reason theyre doing only snowboarders is because they dont want it over crowded, and they assume there are more snowboarders than skiers in the park. Which, in many cases is true. They just need a park pass to keep it from overcrowding.
