Skiers a not pussys like snow boarders

i think that snowboarders can do more in jibbing, like urban and park rails, but skiers can do more in the backcountry. Also a swith trick on skis looks better than a switch trick on a board

dude watch like.. true life or someshit.. 2001 snowboarders were hitting rails that I haven't seen skiers hit yet. like big urban trap switch ups and stuff. But realize this. They are different sports. Comparing the two is like trying to say whos better atheletes basketball players or football players. You just can't.
 
not any more they don't... skier kids care much more about clothes, gear and what is cool than boarders these days... just look at this website.
 
Some racers are nice people, I've definitely talked to some good people.

The problem is racing breeds the wrong attitude from very early on, i.e. that you have to be the fastest no matter what. Queuing for the gondola in Zermatt with a bunch of racers gets very frustrating, they are totally unrelaxed.

This thread is useless. Skiing & snowboarding are almost the same fucking thing and do not determine your testicle size... you got pussies, gapers, posers in every branch of society. In the world u got 3 kinds of people: dicks, pussies & assholes.... this has nothing to do with whats strapped to your feet man.

Debate over. Snowboarders are just as cool as skiers... from a sport and progression perspective..

Now from a personality perspective, that comes down to the individual boarder/skier, the balls they have, and just what kind of person they are...

I personally stay away from the gapers and assholes, but thats just me...
 
I think this thread is totally pointless... thank you gore_freeskier for spreading the hate that I've been trying to eliminate/not deal with for the past few yrs, douchebag. Skiers and boarders all throw down alike. I actually like watching some snowboard films better than ski film, any old mackdawg movie with like kevin jones, Jussi, Peter Line, those guys tore it up at everything outside the park, ill shit right there...

meh i donno if there more intense, they ususlly just find lines that are more fun and look way cooler on film. plus there intros are WAY better, and somehow the movie is just all around more enjoyable. follow me around this year was sooo sick.
