i just entered a skiercross race for tomorrow, dont really know what to expect. i was just woundering if any of you have been in one and what you thought?

yea i got skis, i used to downhill. i just dont know what its like racing with three other people

Ya ppl throw more than fists. watch this vid untill the end cause the slow-mo is crazy. It looks like the guy pushes the other guy's boot but no guarantees.

the jumps are ment to be cleared at maxium speed so dont slow down

that guy probably broke his hip. advice: ski aggressive and act all tough and big at the beginning and all the racers will be scared of you and leave you alone

What level skiercross is it?

Definately bring race skiis if you have them longer the better but not longer than 193 r

I compeated in one last weekend, they are fun, lots of crashes if the course is crappy, so watch out, everyone could crash and you could just casually ski to the finish

Skied in one last year at Blue. Went off a jump and a guy behind me grabbed my jacket from behind and I crashed on my shoulder, went to th hospital. I'm getting surgery on it next week, frickin awesome. They're right though, ski aggressive and don't slow down
