Skiercross in 2010 Olympics

if you want fast watch downhill, faster speeds and bigger jumps, but i guess your not with a bunch of other people
 
and halfpipe didn't... wow. I know there are serious beuracratic issues in play here, but for fucks sake, NO ONE does skier cross... while tons do pipe.

Fuck it, screw pipe, why don't we push for slopestyle for 2014?
 
The Olympics HATE judged events (no matter what the sport). There are always scandals and problems with judging. Skiercross is a timed event in a disipline that is already in the Olympics. Plus it is a spectator friendly event (crashes and whatnot). Pipe needs to get more legit with FIS to get to the Olympics.

It's kind of a slap in the face that they dont have skateboarding halfpipe in the olympics in my opinion. Shits way iller than snowboarding and came b4 snowboarding. Alot more people do it too compared to snowboarding. But Tony Hawk said it best "The olympics need skateboarding more than skateboarding needs the olympics at this point."

Skiercross is pretty dope though, and it makes sense that timed events are alot less corrupt.

that is good, but mad gay that superpipe didnt get in. snowboarder pip is in but everyone knows that skiers go bigger than boarders.

 
I think its pretty tight. Sure, it would be great if pipe was in, but the more ski events the better.
 
Skiercross is sweet. Im glad its in the olympics. those courses are so fun to bomd down, they have huge rollers, corners and even massive jumps. It takes balls to enter into a skiercross with ex downhill racers cause their mean bastards that like to go fast.
 
that is so stupid. skier cross is a dieing sport and pipe is a growing sport. i would rather see womens ski jumping in than skier cross. nothing agaisnt skier cross but
 
the only reason superpipe isnt in the olympics is regulations, its a young sport and they dont have all of the world cup stuff figured out, and could use more countries representing themselves.
 
Its a step in the right direction but, why oh why are they still dragging their feet on SKIING SUPERPIPE? It is known that skiing was around way before snowboarding, AND now skiers go way bigger in the pipe than their counterparts, so WTF? Still no skiing halfpipe? They are scared arn't they?

umm, im going to have to disagree, people are ignorant, i bet half of americas population doesn't even know skiers go in the pipe.
