Even though the year isnt quite finished, and a lot of pros do stuff in the summer, so far, who do you think has been this number one.

id say its between Seth Morrison and Tanner Hall.

cause morrison was doing stuff that was unimaginable on the big mountain, and tanner was dominating all the competitions, and he finally stepped it up in half pipe

Seth morrison all the way, he is and always will be the greatest skier ever for bigmountain. But for jibbers most definetly rory silva, the only reason he doesnt have as much publicity is because he skis for himself, he skis because he loves skiing in fact if he wanted publicity hed be way more known than fucking tanner hall, oh and mad props to candide aswell, no props whatsoever to tanner hall because he is a fuckin retard.

yah Mickael definatley for stepping it up and doing more than cork 5s, even though they are the nicest tricks in the world, but he only did well the Open, although he could get it for his FLAWLESS style, but how good an all round skier is he?

 
I gotta say Candide for going stupid huge wherever he is on the mountain and making skiers look pimp. Morrison definitly get's mad props too for the rodeo 7.

id say mikeal for most improved, but i havnt seen ne of his segs, just that really tiny switch cork 9 at the uso big air last year

um... i was cut off from the skiing world for the whole winter, but I did catch the X-Games on TV so I'm just going off of that (and even if you saw or know of most the results from competition - competition isn't everything, half is video segments - and well, this years skiing won't be out till the fall) But I'm gonna say Candide. His pipe skills are mind boggling, and his run in slopestyle would have won (i think) if he didn't overshot his last air.

Anyone that put Rory Silva down as rookie of the year needs to realize that he has been around and paid his dues. For jibber of the year i'd have to go with Deschenaux or Silva. You don't have to do good in comps to be the best jibber and Silva has shown that by absolutely killing it and doing shit that a lot of people never though would be possible.

Rory Silva

Jon Reedy

Mark Abma

As for skier of the year I would say Pep, he was basically an unknown on here last April 5, now he's on the same level as Jon and Tanner.

i don't mean to be an anal bitch, but i got nothing better to do with my time than to bitch on NS, so here she goes - alpineshop dude... the thread is skier of the year - not skier of last year. unless you managed to go into the future to get this years batch of videos in the fall than you are refering to the vidoes that came out in the fall that has past. that shit's last years footage. this year is a whole new story.

the best thing i saw this year was candides segment in ski movie 3 where he hits that huge table and does a cork five with three different grabs...that was CRAZY

 
actually, tanner is getting some big mountain lines in the new Oakley movie with PBP. I guess he and Johnny D were shooting in Jackson Hole.

when i said tanner hall as all round skier, i meant it because hes good at pipe, jumps, jibs and bc booters, (did you see his zero spin cliff drop?..not bad). theres really nobody that can rip the park and ski lines thats ontop of both of those aspects of skiing. my ratings were based on movies of last year. i have no way of knowing waht kind of season each skier had except for competition results.
