Skier lost in ny wakes up in CA

Pretty good read. Guy was probably off smoking some 24 year old he met while ripping, then just pulled the ole dazed and confused trick on his wife. Classic.
 
A friend of mine is a firefighter in Toronto, and this guy is his chief at the station. My friend went to Whiteface to aid in the search for him. I have texted with my friend, wishing him good luck in the search. But, I do not have any of the finer details as to what happened. I might be seeing him this weekend, and might have some more info. I am just blown away that nobody that saw this guy in his ski gear, contacted authorities to say something is wrong. Glad the guy is ok! (more of a claim post at this point)

i mean, he probably wasnt wearing his ski gear when he got to california. definitely sounds like an attempt at something went sour and now he's trying to abandon it and pretend something happened to him. people (adult males especially) don't very often get abducted in the woods of NY and taken to california in a big truck... then released...? and then buy a new iphone. the story doesnt make a lick of sense so im surprised to hear the people involved sounding like they believe his account of things. but i havent been paying attention so idk
 
Whiteface in back in my home region and he ended up 2 hours away from me now in sac.

Also the pic of the dude is so creepy.

Just from his pic I said they shouldn't bother looking for him. Weird shit. They had a massive search going at whiteface too

I also thought the same thing, regarding him running away and then backing out. Might not ever know what happened.
