Why does evryone think they're gay? I don't know, good natural feeling, price is right. Not a lot of people look stylish while riding them though, I don't know they should at least be fun for farting around with. Can you guys make any valid points?

theyre not that bad, and they help teach you not to land in the back seat (cuz if you do, youll land on your ass). Theyre pretty ugly though. Personnally i wouldnt buy a pair. and i garuntee you, youl be called gay more than once in this thread, bveleive you me, it happends alllllthe time

well a long time ago when i asked a similar question, i rceived some real help that made me want to switch to twin tips. i don't remember what they said or who it was, but i thanks them for making me realize the right oath to take. as for this thread you'll prob just get responses like "they're just gay"

no, just the fact that you really CANT look good on em. if ur not tryin to impress n e one or go uber fast, then go for it. in fact, if n e one out there is looking for some skiboards, ive got some REALLY GOOD LINE's that are fat, so theyre even easier to carve and such! if so, email me or jus send me a msg!

I know the word gay will be used 100's of time in this thread, that's why I said can anyone make any VALID points.

sry that my awnser is not that helpfull but it is the opinion more then hlaf of this site saummed up in under 10 words

skiboard pros:

easy to learn on.

easy to spin on.

easy to grind on.

cheap.

easy to transport.

skiboard cons:

no powder abilities to speak of.

impossible to get enough speed in alot of cases.

it is super is to look super gaper.

no poles.

my mom skiboards.

bindings dont release.

euro dudes will hit on you.

the end.

as far as cons go, powder? I live in Wisconsin. I don't know what it is super is to look super gaper means. You don't need releasable bindings because they're short. You don't need poles, but you could use them if you wanted. Your mom sounds awesome. euro dudes? I live in Wisconsin. I don't know about the speed thing though.

another con is that they have absolutely no flex at all so no butters, and they are also unstable at high speeds

good job argueing a lost cause mr. pirate ski board. Don't defend them on a ski site, your wasting your time. Go have anal sex with the B-Crew or join a ski board website where you can talk about your eurotrash boyfriends and why the bad stuff about it is actually good.

they have newschooler bashing threads on that site.

god, i remember how dool it was to be 13 and completely out of the loop.

if those kids were skiers they wouldnt be half bad... save for the utter lack of anything resembling steeze.

exactly why i have never been wet over d-structure.

fuckin bladers... snow and otherwise.

I went to that site and responded to the post about NS hating on skiboarders. This is what I posted:

"Mainly the hate for skiboarders is because, truthfully, skiboarding will never begin to approach the style, tech, or air that gets thrown on skis. Are skiboarders throwing down sw 9's over 120 ft.+ gaps like skiers and boarders are? Nope

When I see someone riding skiboarding, I have the same impression I would have as if I saw a man walking down the streets of San Fransico wearing tight, red leather chaps, cowboy boots, and a tank-top (gay). This is just the image that skiboarding puts off. The man wearing the tight, red leather chaps thinks they look just fine, but everyone else knows..."

yeah exactly. without snowblades alot of us wouldnt even be into skiing.

ive skied my whole life recreationally basically, but a few years go (before i knew about twin tips) i decided to try snowblades so i could "do cool tricks". that very weekend i discovered twintips and i was hooked.

haha my thread about skiboardsonline.com got deleted. That's becasue the skibladers couldn't take it. And who slides 7 foot back yard rails? if your gonna do stuff like that, bust out the scooter. Scooters are the most extreme for sheezey.
