Why Post? an exceelent question! of course it's going to be a biased anwser! However, i have tried both and found that the learning curve for snowboarding goes a lot faster than skiing. (thus less room for improvement). Unlike skiing where you can always be better. So, skiing takes much more skill

Skiboarding does not compare to skiing, period.

Skiboarding is not equal to skiing. It's just for the people that can't ski the mountain and like doing 360's on the ground.

If someone hit one of Candide's big ass booters on skiboards, then that would be harder to land, so in a sense it would be more difficult. But when was the last time you saw this happen?

I don't hate skiboarders, i hate the people that skiboard. if for some reason you are compelled to strap fairy boards to your feet, i hate you. i hate the type of person you are, and i pray you will never reproduce and have little skiboarders. as for getting ripped on, i think the real riders know and respect eachother, but everyone has the right to rip on skiboarders. there are lots of reasons for it, but mainly because they suck. it's like asking

Performing a trick on skis takes more effort. Landing a trick on snowblades takes more discipline.

Skiers can go higher, faster, farther, and anywhere. Snowbladers have to kick around in that little rut down at the bottom of the mountain on a good corduroy day.

Use snowblades as a training tool to dial in your landings. Break out the big dogs to school everyone else in the park with your oh-so-matter-of-fact style (or is that steez?). Whatever.

Spend the rest of your day laughing at every kid washing out their landings, bitching about how 'too eff'ing soft' their tails are, wishing that companies would smarten up and make something stiffer so they could stomp their shit - and righteously get sponsored.

skiboarding is extremly hard.

there much lighter and shorter, so it makes it that much harder to grab, spin, flip, or grind.

skis have all the akward lengh and weight, making it much more easy to manuver and do tricks.

i THink that skiboarding is pretty easy.thats the thing i hate about skiboarding. If you ski for a few years, then switch to skiboarding, there is nothing more to try because then the turning, jumping, and landing is so damn easy. Thats why i give the skiers all the credit for REAL talent.
