i got skiblades. but i didn't use em this season cause i got new skiis. blades just seem too easy. to pussy

 
i have never seen a blader hit up an air (wierd aint it) but i do know that them tryin to haul ass down a slope, wobbling on their blade thingies it looks gaurenteed awful. also theirs the no poles thing, skiers look pretty gay without poles and that therefore carriers on to snowbladers. and finally, dont post a list of pros who used to ski blade, why the hell do i care if eric pollard used to blade? he skis now, maybe hes better because of it, but there are alot of pro skiers who never have ski bladed

I ski a lot of downhill, but sometimes I bring my skiblades... they are fun because you dont need poles and they are a lot easier to control. who cares what other people say... if you like it, do it*

'I definitely think all this hatred towards bladers needs to stop. I ride both...YES BOTH!! I started on skis since I was 2 years old. A few years ago my friend bought a pair of blades, I laughed like you guys saying theyre gay and not skis...tried em out....loved em. Yeah I have to admit it does look funny, but consider how long did we all say snowboarding looked queer and now its accepted. Ride how you want to ride, and dont let anyone else tell you differently. And to all those people that say skiboarders are faggots--try em yourself! Also if it were so gay would Line--the greatest ski company ever--make them?? I have a pair of Line Mike Nicks, Im getting Skogans, and I have a pair of their Flys(skiboards) if they were gay Id say Line wouldnt make them. Hence skiboarding isnt gay!!!!!!!! I consider myself a skiboarder somewhat even though Ive ridden skis longer

ssclark- chill out, most of the best skiers snowbladed in the past. snowblading creates a sense of balance in the park, and makes you a great jibber. just about every line rider snowbladed and now they are some of the best. dont let these kids talk shit, you are doing what you like to do. keep having fun, who cares what people think.

it makes perfect sense. skiboarding has such a awesome feel to it u dont get from skiing, im not talking about 'going big' or 'fast' im talking about just sliding down it such a fun feel, the manuverability, and everyhting, i feel too tied down on full length skis.

skiboarding is just one of those things that if u approach it openminded, can be really fun

all of us skiers see skiboarders as being gay and new and not having any skill, but thats because we've been skiing for so long and we hear each other dissing skiboards

its one thing for a person to ski then go to skiboards, but most of the skiboarders i see are little kids who otherwise would be snowboarding or sitting at home watching tv

be happy that they are on two pieces of wood!
