I definitely think all this hatred towards bladers needs to stop. I ride both...YES BOTH!! I started on skis since I was 2 years old. A few years ago my friend bought a pair of blades, I laughed like you guys saying theyre gay and not skis...tried em out....loved em. Yeah I have to admit it does look funny, but consider how long did we all say snowboarding looked queer and now its accepted. Ride how you want to ride, and dont let anyone else tell you differently. And to all those people that say skiboarders are faggots--try em yourself! Also if it were so gay would Line--the greatest ski company ever--make them?? I have a pair of Line Mike Nicks, Im getting Skogans, and I have a pair of their Flys(skiboards) if they were gay Id say Line wouldnt make them. Hence skiboarding isnt gay!!!!!!!! I consider myself a skiboarder somewhat even though Ive ridden skis longer

^ it's true they don't make skiboard bindings anymore (they buy them from salomon now), and Line hasn't changed the models in 2 years. and don't make the skiboard boot anymore either.

 
theres no market for a skiboard boot, and their a lot of a bigger market for more less expensive skiboards(hence inexpensive salomon bindings)

Here's my progression. Ski-Snowboard-Ski Board-Twin Tips. I nevr would have been interested in going back to skiing if i hadn't been on snowblades. And i didn't switch because i wasn't getting respect, i switched becasue you can only do so much on ski boards. you land back seat and you're done. ski with confidence, and you'll get respect.

alright i dont really mind snollerbladers. i try to ignore them on the hill, and i rarly talk to them. but when they start talking shit and acting like the half-assed grabs and spins they throw are cool, i get really pissed. and whoever posted the 'pre-skibladers-now-skiers-list' look who is on that list. the only one who has good style is pollard. the rest are good skiers, but you can see what their style comes from.

you people are so insensitive. gay this gay that, snowlerblader, fruitbooter, gayblader, and whatever else. i think a lot of the skibladers you pepole see on the slopes are going to turn out just fine. the ones that stick with it and progress to twins might end up impressing you. hate the ones that cut you off in line, screw up the jumps, and act like they are godly when they can hardly throw 3's. skibladers snowboarders and other skiier alike. to be honest i dont even think that skibladers are much worse than the snowboarders i see. and especially give lots of respect to the ones who ARE doing good.

 
haha ya I tell snoler bladers at my mtn they're gay. I yell it at them then I proceed to tell them that I'm going to build a giant flight of stairs and push them down them, get some real skis. unless you a lil jap guy who can do 1620's on them I jsut dont see the point of having little skis where you dont use any poles

the way i see it is if skiboarders use poles they get made fun of, if they dont use poles they get made fun of. you guys apparently have never seen a good skiboarder, cuz ive seen plenty of them. just cuz u dont have poles and they're a little bit shorter doesnt mean your 'gay' or a 'fag' you stupid queers.

I dont mind skiboarders, I just thin kit looks silly. Ill still respect someone who's good at it, butyou know, its just funny. There would be no LINE. Anyone notice that USS result? The top 3 riders were LINE riders! Nick and Pollard on Nicks and Pete M on weapons.

The first ski levinthal developed was what would be classically called a 'skiboard'. The exact things you guys are calling gay. A lot of tricks were pulled on skiboards before skis, Wilson's Wilsonflip was developed years and years ago when he was on skiboards.
