i just want to know why this site is the only place where i get crap for riding on skiblades. i dont get shit from people when i'm on the slopes. so why here?

because believe it or not people are pussies and they wont say shit to your face, but now there behind a comp screen 100 miles away from you so they dont care, dont sweat it, i dont dig the sport but you gotta do what you gotta do so just tell them to go fuck themselfs.

 
me and my friends always call the fruit booters where i live gay, we dont usually say it to there face usually we have to yell it at them cuz they consantly snake us on our way to hit jumps, and its a huck sport with not much style (like roller blading) but my best friend thinks its fun to toss his dink blades on a few times a year he thinks its the coolest thing in the world and you better beleive we tell him how gay he looks on them

 
haha ya I tell snoler bladers at my mtn they're gay. I yell it at them then I proceed to tell them that I'm going to build a giant flight of stairs and push them down them, get some real skis. unless you a lil jap guy who can do 1620's on them I jsut dont see the point of having little skis where you dont use any poles

 
^yea you might as well get big skis and do some cool looking tricks cause honestly how hard is it to 1080 with nothing attached to your feet, if i wanna see those i'll watch me friend on a trampoline

My god lets not get into this topic again, it has been killed. The dude that started this post should have searched the forums to find out why they are gay. I skiboarded for about 3 years before I switched to twintips. I give props to other guys in the park on skiboards. People got to start someplace. When i fucked up my ankle this fall, i spent some time back on the skiboards. I dont know why persons on ns are such haters.

hey, helmutjr. I think the guy in that picture...is Mike Nick, hmm lots of skiers evolved from skiboarding..MN, Iannick B., Mike Wilson..to name a few. I def. think there not as much style to it and I'll def stick to my twins, but I don't diss people on skiboards...they do what they want to, and I have no prob. with that.

its funny because most everybody on this site has skis shorter than themselves (basicly skiboards), and try to act like SEWPER HARDCORE SKIERZ. and whoever said theres no style in rollerblading is a dicksucker to the second power.

skiboards are gay, i agree with that which is why i don't ride them. there really isn't much need to diss them though unless they cut you off or do something that gets in your way. if they do though giv'er and make fun of the fruitbooter.

get some real skis all the people i see on snowlerblades are super sketchy and adn doiing 7's of two foot jumps.

i'm not saying i'm a great skiblader... i hit all the biggest jumps possible and can throw 7's from time to time and i've landed a back flip once. i can huck like no skiier ever could but i dont normally do it because i cant ever stop the rotation.

skiblades are far harder to land on. i lean backseat just a tiny bit and i go down. there is no edge length that can stop a rotation, so big spins are difficult to stop. i have tons of respect for the guys that started this progression even though it's now out of style.

i only ride on skiblades cause i'm poor and now that i've finally landed myself a pair of twins i hope use them mostly. and honestly, the only reason i really wanted the twins is b/c i can't get respect without them.

 
I used to ski board too, then realised how lame and 'newbie' it is a couple years back. Now all I see is the 'hockey boys' comin out on skiboards and thinkin they are gods gift to snow. If they could only see themselves and how gay they look. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with skiboarding and for the hardcore skiboarders, Rock On , but its just that the majority of skiboarders that I see are poser fags.
