how many kids at yor skool ski? will one day there be as many skiers as borders? do ppl refer to frestyle skiing as snobording still?

there are a total of 3 kids who ski in my school out of like 1200. Most people are stupid stereotypical New jersey people. They all snowboard and think its cool

I do believe skiing is growing but it's growth will be evident in looking at the number of young kids that are out skiing. Most people in high school/university are old enough that they are more or less oblivious to the changes that have happened in skiing over the last 5 years or so and in most cases still believe skiing is just a sideshow for snowboarding.

In Aspen we have a lot of snowboarders still from the late 90's cause it was the cool thing to do. There are some that compete but most just ride around, not even in park. But most the people that ski, and are okay are into newschool skiing. It is fo sure growing though. It is at a stage where snowboarding was about 10 years ago!

there are like 10-15 good freestyle skiers at my school but they are all guys (other than me).

The only 2 girls that are good freestyle skiers on my mountain are me(but i kind of suck) and this other girl that is like as good as me.

im at ubc and i havent met one fucking person who cares about skiing, either they suck or they get too drunk all the time to ski... which is cool... except its not, cause fuck that skiings better. and besides skiings going down the shitter, global warmings gonna fuck us all... the new sport is freestyle unicycling.

 
id say close to even where i live, its chill, everyone gives respect tho, but i hate the little bitches who start skiing and wear fuckin sweat pants to the hill, i wanna beat their asses to death with their fuckin fruit boots

i have a bunch of people at my school who ski, but the sad part is im one of the better skiers... most of the people who ski are the pussy shits whos parents wont allow them to board and they want to get started on a snow sport so they get those old ass skis and do pizza french fries.

where i got school kids dont really understand the concept of skiing so, it'll be down to 0 skiers there when igraduate this year, but i think its evening out at the mtn where is ski

2 newschoolers out of 30 skiers, but most of them ski because they can't snowboard yet.

i remember when there used to be more skiers than boarders, but that was before snowboards were in production. But even in like jr. high there were still more skiers than boarders. Skiing is definetly making a comeback.
