Ski width difference?

smaller width will be a very small bit harder to balance on rails compared to a larger width, however easier to do switchups faster because they are lighter with less material. Larger will be easier to balance on rails however a bit slower for switchups etc. I went from a 92mm to an 85mm last season when I got new skis and It was noticeable but really easy to get used to after a couple of sessions.

The bigger factor for what width will work best is the technique you slide rails. If you slide totally flat base you may find a slightly wider ski gives more stability as you have more surface area.
however if you like to angle your feet ie angle front foot you may find a wider ski hinders you as your foot is further from the rail when you angle your foot.
The he bigger factor overall is weight though. Wider skis will be heavier and also have a higher swing weight so it is for this reason most park skiers still stick to skis of 90mm or less. Yes you can go wider but you will be slightly holding yourself back in the park compared to a more dedicated park ski.
