Im looking for some new skis

i live on the east coast so we dont get alot of powder. i do alot of park but also screwing around the resort I wanted to know if the weight of a ski matter for spins or rails. I am looking at the ar6's but i heard that armadas are heavy.

ummmmmmmm the wight doesnt really matter, and skis are pretty light unless your buying somethin huge like line propheyt 130's or k2 pontoons or somethin bindings are tha real weight issue like line makes heavy bindings race bindings are heavy etc.

o well i was just thinkin big fatass skis would be heavy i kno a guy with pontoons an there havy as fuck

why do you actually need skis that fat though?

so armadas are a little heavier than most skis.

i have saolomons now and tehy are pretty light. so idk if armadas are going to be a big diffrence

My bro has ar6s and theyre barely heavier than my The Dumonts. I used to think weight made a huge difference but now i know its really jus thow much you look your spin and how much you commit.

Weight doesn't make much of a difference unless you're touring, which it sounds like you aren't. I have skis that weigh between 11 and 17 pounds and I can't tell the difference unless I'm on the lift or I get really bored and do 360's on the ground.
