Ski Weight of PE's

I'm seriously considering getting the PE's for all mtn. I only weigh 130 and am worried they will be too heavy for me. How much do they weigh. And i dont mean "hell of a lot" does anyone have a number to put on them?

no #'s but they are boats man... they might be too heavy for you.

iim tired of every one asking how heavy the PEs are.... if you cant handle a haeavy ski, (which there not) you just need to stop skiing right now. stfu and ski.

Skiing in NC aint so bad

I hate it when snowboarders think they are so cool because they can 50 50 a rail

no skis are too heavy. you just have to adjust to them and get stronger in the legs...I think they are perfect and I weigh 120

time for the waynewong to step in and settle this one....so sit down you little groms and listen up.

1) A park ski (which the PEs are) are park skis...they may ski good elsewhere but they are still basic twin tips (like all other park skis)...that means they are relatively soft and lack the tricked out gadgets that more expensive models have...still great skis but not all mountain kick ass skis....if thats what you want, get a pair of outlaws

2) All skis weigh relatively the same...except for some crappy salomons which are made out of foam and suck...but k2/dynastar/ataomic/armada etc....all weigh in about the same....the truth comes down to your binding/boot selection...if you only wieght 130lbs maybe you should be on a chicks ski or kids ski

3) you get what u pay for...see #1

there...now go to your local shop and have mom or dad lay down the plastic for a new pair

you're contribution was completely wrong and annoying with the numbering and whitty comments about parents. the kid skis in ohio and wants an "all mtn ski" when the rest of the mountain consists of 3 turn runs. get something that will actaully be fun to fuck around on. i dunno about you but i'd rather butter down a 100yard run then try and link 2 turns.

i love it when people rip on other people because they felt like they wasted time reading a post....your on the fucking internet, your wasting you life doing anything on the internet.

there really not that heavy. there the same as any other park ski. and like everyone alreay said it's all about how heavy your boots and binders are.

i'd weight mine for you but my digi scale isn't really good for weighing skis, hahahah.... anyways I got my 179 PEs with P12s when i weighed about 130 lbs, and they definitely weren't too heavy. Carrying them, you may notice a little extra weight, but whoever complains that they're too heavy when skiing is just a pussy
