I told my friend to wax his skis and he goes home and uses surf wax. Pretty sure he is now in fiji riding some monster waves on some arvs.

i always put olive oil my skis before I get street clips because the local middle school doesnt grease their rails

Took a friends advice for a jump at snowmass and he told me to go dead straight from the jump before, then I overshot the fuck out of it... Later learned that was his third season on those skis and he hadn't waxed them even once.

Idk I just pick up a 180g brick of swix red every 1.5 seasons. Sometimes I'll use this graphite stuff called swix speed granulate if it's gonna be cold but they don't make it anymore so I've been rationing it. Someone lmk if there's anyone still making wax coated graphite pellets.

no I mean the graphite pellets that you sprinkle on over the wax while it's still hot on the ski. I do have some graphite wax but prefer the pellets.
