are they worth getting for $40 cdn. and what exactly do they entail? guy at the shop said manafacturer's defects but they also advertised skis getting lost in powderfields.

anyways so I got the '02 172 Head Mad Trix this september and since that's guarenteed to break. can i send it back and have them gimme back a 181? i've tried contacting Head Canada but they're asses.

 
you paid extra money for a warranty?

no ski compnay in the US that i know of offers an extended waranty that you have to pay for. must be a canadian thing of something. was it an extended maufacturer warranty or a warranty at from the shop?

 
yeah i'm just wondering if companies service warranties based on the model year or from date of purchase.

how long does it take between sendign the skis there and getting 'em back?

 
ya you got ripped on that deal skis shops are not like circuit city ot some electronic store they come with a warranty and if you get new ones and all u want is a bigger size just take the new skis into a shop and trade them.

 
Salomons warrantees suck though, plenty of stories to prove it. Nobody ever gets stuff back from them.

anyone know about dynastars warrenties....i jus got the 03 concepts and in 5 times of skiing ive put em through all kindsa shit... and im not sure if they'll make it through the season
