Ski video cinematography/recent trends in ski lifestyle

seems like no one can hold a reasonable discussion around here these days.

I think you're right, but after that you have to decide what being right means. Does it mean that kids shouldn't dress the way they think looks cool? People will always dress the way that's cool, whether it be an XXL t-shirt, a neon onepiece or a three-piece suit. And any given style will always look ridiculous to someone who's not "in" on it. Humans are funny, aren't they?

And when you look at it, there's really a lot of breathing room for individuality in thug steez. should I wear the silver chains or the gold? Pistons jersey or xxl oakley hoodie? and what color bandana? dangle or facemask? these are important questions, man.

Blame canada. we're all fubar'ed out that the states has to compensate with urban ghettoness...

we should just build a giant dam in trail and turn the kootnays into a big resivoir (that can't be spelt right) so the Americans can have more fresh water...

hmm, maybe a little random.

How many of these kids will still be rocking oversized clothes or acting gangster when they get older? It's a joke, everybody tries to take on a new image of where they can fit into being really really cool. Unless you're really good at hustlin or like being broke and ghetto, then everything will change as you get older and wiser. I'm just saying it's harder to pay the bills and stay out of the pen if you're claiming thug these days. How fresh are those giant jeans going to look when you're forty?

im sorry jamesmccormick did you not like my pragmatics and/or not understand my sarcasm?

to revive the cinematic conversation:

in regards to an earlier comment about robotfood's older productions, yes lame + afterlame are old videos. it seems to take the ski media industry a good year or two to catch up + mimic. the last good ski video i saw (critiquing the cinematography) that didnt remind me of an older snowboard video was Immersion. i enjoy some tgr films too since they seem a bit more mature + variated, however they lack a lot of imagination in terms of design --not to mention the mediocre sound tracks

any suggestions for current video productions?

like I said, i watched a slew of trailers from this year and wasnt too stoked

note: im talking about the filming/design quality/etc of the films not necessarily tthe skiing
