Ski vacation advice

So I ski the east, up in new hampshire all season long. I have vacation in march for two weeks and I am planning my first ski trip out west with my friend. The date that I want to start at would be march 12, and we are basically planning on hitting up breckenridge as of now. I am perfectly fine with skiing the park, but i would prefer to shred some pow. So I am wondering is there usually pow at that time of the year out west, and if so, where would be the best place to shred it? Breck or somewhere else, like jackson hole or somewhere in Cali? What would you guys suggest?

Sorry if i sound dumb, but the only stuff that I have skiied has been the pure ice and 2 pow days a year east coast. (LOON)
 
Yes come to Utah. 2 weeks of skiing here and you'll wana come back every year. Major upside of Utah over Colorado is how easy it is to ski multiple resorts and get the full experience. Colorado you're kinda stuck with whatever resort you go to.
