Ski turf?

I've seen in some videos that people have made start ramps with some kind of turf or something on them. does anybody know what it is or where i can get it? or any better suggestions for ramp besides snow? i want to try to get a ramp for some summer rails and be able to use it in the winter too.

it is probably just astroturf(sp) with soap and water or snogel on it...carpet also works okay if you just put on some water/soap...

yep, go to your local home depot or lowes and they have giants rolls of it for super cheap, like $.50 a sq ft i think

Its just Astroturf. You can get it super cheap at Menards or Lows or other stores. Just staple it on to your ramp and you can use it for summer and winter jibbing. Carpet works too, but it tends to get old, nasty and moldy. So Astroturf will last longer.

and if u don't want to spend the little money it cost to buy the turf, you can just go to a driving range where they are constantly throwing out good turf that they will give you for free.

yeah astro turf works really well, but if you cant get astro turf, go to a construction site and get the plastic orange material, it slides so well.
