Ski tramp parks?

What should I search when looking for a place to learn flips and whatever.

All I can find is skyzone, does that work?

Gymnastics places that have open gyms are great but a blitz or skyzone will honestly work fine for most single flips

The SkyZone near me SUCKS!!! No doubles, No flips from tramp to tramp.

NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO DUB INTO THE FOAM PIT!!!

Once they told me I couldn't dub into the foam pit I just started hucking triples.

Their sign only said no dubs, nothing about triples.

Then I found a gymnastics gym with an open gym night. Obviously it ended up being in the industrial park of a fancy suburb.

We were the oldest people there by at least 10yrs lol. The staff didn't care but the hot ass milfs were bitchy as fuck! All the dads were syked to see some dubs tho haha.

Pick your battles, if you find a gymnastics gym leave the tall t's at home the first time you go out there and try and be super respectful till you find out what the crowds like.

Check the SkyZone out though, they have a dope set up (tramps arent as bouncy as a gymanstics gym tho)

But maybe your SkyZone is more chill then the one by me.

Thanks for this, thats what I figured thanks everyone, k for all. One question, how hard would it be to learn rotations by myself.

Honestly everything comes with time. After doing rotations for a while you will 'feel' new ones coming about.

Rotations definitely come by a little faster with the rite crowd and motivation, but you'll be able to tell when its the rite time for a new trick even by yourself.

If you do find a trampoline spot and enjoy going, you should go by yourself if no one else is down to go, the more you flip the better your air awareness gets and that's what is all about.

Once you are able to 'Slow-mo' tricks as you do them, i.e. being able tell where you are the whole time. That's when more tricks become possible.

When you're throwing tricks for the first time they may seem 'blind' like you cant see. If that's the case just do the trick over and over again till you have complete visibility through out the trick. That is air awareness. Once you obtain visibility through out your tricks progression with new tricks becomes a lot easier.

dont go to skyzone, tramps there arn't bouncy enough to learn big stuff

Would a gymnastics place work? I don't want to be thrown in a leotard. But seriously if I showed up to a gymnastics place would I be able to pay to just use the tramps?

Tons of gymnastics places have open gym where plenty of people just go to use the tramps, that's what we do and we're definitely the only skiers in the place.

How do you find open gyms? I have searched a lot but wasn't able to find any.

A lot of gymnastics places offer them, just look on the facebook pages of local gyms to see whats going on or ask people at a gym if they know of any places that do that.

What city and country do you live in?

If you find an open gym go to a session and ask for help and they'll teach your proper form for your basics trampoline moves like backsaults before going onto ski tricks.

there is no way u have enough time to get a triple around on skyzone trampolines, the tramps there are very similiar to garden tramps. OP if your looking for a place to learn basic flips skyzone is great but if your looking for a place to learn bigger stuff, look elsewhere

One tip of advice tho is right after you learn a new trick, while your spirits are up, try for another trick. When you feed off of the energy of learning a new trick it makes it much easier to stomp another new one! Good Luck!

Thanks, just found a tricking club that has open sessions.

I live in Brussels (Belgium), where open sessions don't really exist. I used to do gymnastics when I was a kid so I am pretty comfortable with tramps :)

Open gyms work but most kids there are 11 years old and the staff can be really strict. I have been going to the same open gym for a while now though and they have started to loosen up on rules as far as dubs and stuff

Dial the phone number for each one, one by one and ask about open sessions.

I tried those but most of them told me that they hire sport halls from schools. I did find a tricking club that uses a real gymnastics gym that holds open sessions :)

yeah open gyms are where its at. My local one had a ski coach from my local hill and he would help us with all of our tricks.
