Ski tracks app

so i was looking around at skiing apps and came across this one and it seems to work.

you put it in your pocket on the app then you can go for a run and you see like your average speed your top speed and such. it might not be hepfull if you only ski park but i htink going out with your friends and trying to beat eatchother would be kinda fun

I used an app called ski tracks while I was in France for a few days last season. It seemed to work pretty well but I did not get into it much. Id be interested to see what other people have used too.

Personally, I think it's the best ski app out there. It will literally tell you everything, and it works great. Highly recommended.

There's another one a friend of mine is making but it's a real-time GPS app for finding your friends on the mountain. Also will have built in ski patrol panic button which can be handy if you eat really, really bad and are riding alone that day. Eventually will have push-to-talk for your friends and set meet up locations, where you parked, messaging, rider profiles to meet new people who like skiing where and what you do, deals based on real-time GPS info, etc.

Free in the Play store, called Snomada.

In beta still. Android only for now though.

Best experiences with Trace Snow, previously Alpine Replay. Video stat sync, online Facebook styled community, and tracks pretty much every thing you do on the hill.

That sounds awesome,I would definitely pay for an app with that many features. It would be so cool to have your favorite mountains pre loaded.

That's a good idea. Trail maps and such. Right now it incorporates Google Maps so you can choose normal, terrain, sat, etc. The app is free, too.
