Ski Tour Operators - College Job!

Job Description:

Skigroup.net is an all-inclusive tour operator based out of Boulder, CO. We bring groups on ski vacations all over the world as preferred partners of resorts. I am booking over 200 pillows (people) for multi-day trips at Mt Bachelor for winter 2013/2014, over 300 pillows at East Coast Resorts, and I am looking to expand across the country in the college market, hiring college reps to sell ski trips.

Opportunity

-Learn the inside of the ski industry, from the resort side & meet the people who make resorts work

-Learn about group travel and the IATA Association (International Air Travel Agent)

-Earn commission from every trip sold

-Earn free trips based upon performance

-Work full time as a Tour Operator, based upon performance

Job Requirements:

-18+

-Like to ski

-Social ability, especially in party situations

-Ability to sell ski trips, or wants to learn how

-Active on social media

-Proficient in email

-Currently enrolled at a College/University a plus, but not required

-Background in music promotion a plus

Time commitment:

-7 hours/week (1 hr/day) minimum

-Weekly check in email (appx 1/2 hour)

What's your name again? I'm Philip and I'd be happy to discuss the many ways in which this is not anything close to what you described. PM me.

For the public forum, I am not making anybody pay me to sell ski trips so the correlation between the two does not work. Skigroup.net is actually an esteemed partner of hundreds of resorts all across the world, and my boss, Stephen Hall, has been a tour operator for close to 30 years. I've only been doing this for (what will be) three years, however it's probably the best job I've ever had.

If you're determined to do this job correctly, you're going to go skiing a lot. Sure, it's a commission-based job so you will only get out of it what you put into it, but if you can sell and you like to ski, this is a great gig.
