Hey People,

i have an question: i have the Head Framewall Ski 19/20 and they have a weight above 4kg. It feels for me that my skis are too heavy for me. I Never been in the air with them, just tryed a Little Bit of grinding. Now i found this „ON3P“ Skis have only a weight from 2kg. Is it too light?

Im a skinny guy 1.83m high and 72kg Heavy. Or i just Need to train my legs more?

I Hope you can give me some advice.

Thank you and sorry for my bad english.

i don't know which on3p model you're talking about but i think the on3p weight quoted is talking about 1 ski as opposed to 2. on3ps are fantastic, top shelf skis but they are not known for being light

and i don't think head frame walls are particularly heavy, tho i can't confirm or deny the weight you gave for them. if they feel heavy to you i think it's more likely it's just a technique issue. as you learn to control them and jump or jump onto rails they will feel lighter. practice practice practice!

Yeah I'm pretty sure you are looking at single ski weight vs. double ski weight. 2kg sounds about right for some of the wider ON3P skis. They are definitely not the lightest skis, and are known to be a bit on the heavier side, but that gets you the bomb proof construction.

Hey man,

ON3Ps are heavier, as everyone else has said. I wouldn’t consider the frame walls heavy. I found somewhere else that they are 3.5kg per pair. I’ve got some revolt 95s that are 3.8kg per pair and they don’t feel heavy.

Your skis are pretty average weight. I think the better question is: what are your bindings? Maybe they are heavy.

How long have you been on the Head Framewalls? I've found that over time you will adapt to whatever ski you're riding in terms of weight.

Heavy ski’s sent good for skiing rails, but I have line honey badgers that are 1.6kg and they are almost impossible to ride in tracked out snow, because they don’t have the weight to plow through the tracks and they get tossed around so you have to keep your legs locked in.
