Ski to Board to Ski

i skied when i was like 6 but i never got off the bunny hill, then i switched to snowboarding for 9 years, then started skiing again and im doing both

i go out of my way to go boarding once a year. thats it jsut once, no more. i just do it to remind me how much i dislike snowboarding. and then when i just take one run at the end of the day on skis, i get all happy.

my and my boarder friends switch maybe twice a month and its a great time i learned how to do rails and boxes and hit a couple jumps by the end of the season

Well, since it was bumped...

I learned to ski when I was 3, picked up snowboarding when I was 7, and switched back to skiing when I was 18. I'm 22 now. I still bust out the snowboard like once or twice a season just to mess around on but I've pretty much totally converted to skiing.

i did the exact same thing as your friend.. minus the rodeos. i started skiing when i was 3, stopped when i was 10.. went to snowboarding competed in provincials and then 3 years ago switched back to skiing.. this upcoming season is going to be my first year only skiing.

I will ski and ride about the same amount each season. It all depends on what type of mood I'm in. I get the same satisfaction from both of them. I grew up skiing and then in my teenage years started skateboarding so the transition to riding came very natural. I was never the type to treat my winter sports like a gang war and never took sides on which one was better or "cooler". I like them both and will go riding with my boys that ski or go skiing with my boys that ride. Sorry for the rant but in the words of Rodney King "Can't we all just get along?!"

i was a snowboarder until one day it was stolen, My friend had 2 pairs of ski so that night i used his Masterminds and fell in love with skiing.
