Ski time magazine=unimpressed

i just read the new issue of ski time. it was the first time i have read this magazine, and i must say it was pretty unimpressive. first of all, there was waaayyy too much going on....like everywhere. i had a hard time concentrating because there was shit everywhere....way too unorganized. and i really really didnt like their interviews. the questions were pretty pointless and didnt really reveal too much.

maybe this was just a bad first impression.....any opinions?
 
Anything that has to do with skiing and free is good in my opinion. Even if they had one picture of skiing, and it was free, I'd like it.
 
you kids will all be the death of skiing.

you complain about not enough ski magazines, and then the companies that step up and offer you one for FREE and it isnt good enough.....

bottom line, you all are never happy, never will be, and are the absolute downfall of our sport with all the bashing going on.
 
I thought it was super refreshing to see something different for once...call me crazy, but i'm pretty sure that's what this thing called "growth" is all about...
 
I'm not unimpressed because I never expected anything to begin with.
 
I liked the interviews, and i thought the thing about The Feint was preety sweet. I didn't really like the text though. But whatever, its a new mag, give it some time. They are just trying out new things to see what people like/want.
 
i got the second one, i still think it sucks, just because you canmakesome f o n t look different dosent mean shit. the interviews are lame, and every other picture is tj or tanner. i also love how there is nothing else to write about but last years x games and a lame hunter comp where alex and denise didnt win everything, unlike the article said.
 
what did they say about the hunter comp, besides alex and denise, i'm doing it this year and want to win. what tricks won?
 
ok at least someone is willing to give out FREE magazines that actually have to do with newschool skiing. what else is out there? seriously and skitime is sick by the way
 
exactly why i made this thread....i was also unaware that it was free. i just looked through my friends. i guess its pretty sweet that its free....but i was just offering some constructive criticism. sorry if i've personally offended people by saying that i was unimpressed with something that had to do with skiing....

Ski Time is sweet, a free ski mag with dope pics and the interviews were decent. The font isn't that bad. I am glad they reinforced the cover for number 2 and they made it a little more ski and less ad than the first. Overall I was very happy with my ski time.
 
EXACTLY I hated having to try and decypher the text when there were no spaces or when there were too many spaces. Other than that though it was definitely worth the ammount of money I paid for a subscription.
 
first of all, the interviews were questions that readers sent in, they even wrote at the beginning, "some of these questions are dumb" or something along those lines, they were just trying to get the reader involved.... and i thought there designs were way beyond any magazine. Even simple 1 page interviews had interesting designs and layouts..... they're being creative, its free and its sick, shut the fuck up
