very disapointing. lots of hype. not much magazine to back it up. better luck next time.

if anyone dare suggests that this is the new freeze, let your souls rot eternally in hell!
 
the mag has no flow at all, way too much clutter and was yellow the only color available? figure it out....and yes...the sublux add does suck....
 
if you're ratiing skiing and giving it a grade because ski magazines arnt hyping it up then u might be skiing for the wrong reasons.
 
Its a good mag, you just need to get used to it like we all got used to freeze and give it a chance
 
got mine today. very cool feel, lots of nice graphic art, entertaining/intresting content.very personable feel, really captured the community aspect of the culture. lots of heart and soul went into every aspect of this project, you can tell. I have mad respect for what they are trying to do... why dont you get off your ass and do something worth while?
 
To many fucking rider interviews...I read it on the toilet this afternoon and I am pretty sure that was teh only thing in that magazine. Rider interviews are good filler for a company that cant come up with creative articles on their own.
 
its FREE! And I thought it was awesome. Levin's page made me giggle, and I liked the sublux ad that everyone hates.
 
i am reely stoked to read it and i know it will be great it was written for people that know a thing or 2 about skiing.
 
keep in mind that this is the first issue of a magazine made by guys who have never made a real magazine before. also keep in mind that ski time was not planned until early this year and so there was no time (or budget) to put together some solid on the slope coverage. keep in mind once more that if the editors could choose how big it can be, itd be twice as big. and if your mind can keep one more, remember that theres a nice little second issue of ski time coming out with some damn good content - i guarantee it!
 
i liked all the graphic art, i thought it was pretty swank. lots of ads but hey there all going on my wall anyway.

Lilhorsey thinks that it was probably one of those pranksters over at Kappa Tau Omega. They've got somewhat of a fraternal rivalry with Ski Time.

sammy c and the ninthward team. well not the team but 2 skiers, the ad guy, and the owner. the story about the olenicks and that rental house and the trip was pretty entertaining as well.

THIS portion of lilhorsey still hasn't read ski time because Matthew Harvey doesn't give a shit about him I guess. Even though he thought I was enough of a "cool kid" to consult about what to name the thing. Thats just great Harvey. Just great.
 
i thought that it was pretty good. they could have had a few more articles. and i miss the liftie of the month from freeze. i wish they had somehting like that. but it was a good first issue.
 
agreed^. i liked the mag a lot, though not lots of writing. i liked all the ads and stuff, plus the pics were great. good stuff, especially for being free. and the design was pretty sweet too.
 
I liked it. Props to Harvey and others for putting out a free Magazine about our sport.

I thought it was pretty sweet.
