Please do. Also it wouldnt be a bad idea to reach out to appropriate personnel that work for resorts in their mountain ops/safety departments with your findings that work for the popular resorts where theft occurs most. Im a former resort employee who had an expensive set of new skis get stolen while on a ride break before work and had absolutely zero support from upper management or anyone for that matter so id be interested to see what resorts think about their current security setups

Awesome idea OP

as for my recommendation never leave any kit at all unattended and not locked up. I was an idiot in Rusutsu and left my Camelback x Mystery Ranch pack at the top of the lift like every other day. I see it one run, the next it’s gone. Never assume people have good hearts, because there is some real Fuckers out there with no morals.

Imagine leaving out a nice park setup then camping out in the lodge. Throw on some jeans and a hunting jacket to look like a rental skier. Once they approach your gear and start messing with it... the rest is history
 
We always talked about setting up some new shit on the racks for pay your age day at mtn snow and beating the thieves.

Most places don't care. I thinj beaver creek was the only place I ever worked where there was somebody who woukd actually try and help people. Forgot what her name was but shed check cams and stuff and actually caught a few people.
