I dont know about you guys but the different ski teams at resorts that call them selfs freestyle ski teams PISS ME OFF. all they do is moguls, penis spins, and backflips somtimes, and think that they are sweet. I dont know about you but i defonatly would not consider moguls freestyle skiing. The comps in moguls skiing are rediculus. It is just like little league baseball in the way that if the parents help out their kids do good in the comps. i hate to say it but i have even seen parents offer the judges bribes to help their kids win. i realy hope that REAL freestyle skiing should not be like this and we should prevent this from happening in real freeskiing.

I am part of team Panorama. We are not the best but we progress. lol. We call ourselves Team Panorama All mountian. Cause we just dont do one discipline.
 
my mountain has a racer team and they think they are the coolest thing sence the electricity, they strut around acting badass and what not... its fine to race, but just dont be cocky. and we too have a freestyle team, its not the same as what your talking about i think its pretty cool. we have our own jump hill and us pro skiers look like a bag of skittles haha.
 
my mountain has a "freestyle" team and they piss me off a lot too. they pretty much all do park but that is one thing that piss me off. they are just a bunch of bratty kids that think they are good they have their douche bag coaches with them. and all they do is like stand in front of jumps and on the lips and landings its stupid.
 
skiing is skiing.what difference does it make? racing's cool, mogul("freestyle") is cool, freeskiing's cool, big mountain's cool, xcountry is cool. why should it matter whether or not they'd rather ski different terrain, or w/e, while on skis. they still share all of our love for skiing. i'd like to see you power through those moguls, then hit some poppy kicker, and land in some more moguls. it's hard, have respect for something that other people prefer to do.
 
i would love to see one of those mogul skiers throw a flat 5, afterbang it, then continue their ride-away switch through the rest of the moguls! I would give it a 10...
 
i also hate the racers that think that racing is the only way to ski and are cocky about it. As if non-racers are some sort of lesser human beings.
 
my friend threw a misty 7 with a mute, stomped it, and continued to shred.

and the teams are sick. im on one. some kids choose to do moguls, while others do park and pow. its all up to what you want to do. and we dont just do occassional backflips and stuff. this 11 year old on the team is throwing 9s already. we just shred and have fun with it.
 
you obviously dont realize that our sport evolved out of thatand i kno the springs has a freestyle team like this n their kids on it that can throw down in the parkn dont hate cuz some kids use these teams to help them get better at skiing in general before they move into the park
 
i see some kids on the mogul team at my mountain throwin backflips, cork 7's all kinds of sick shit into moguls i think its pretty sick stuff
 
Yeah honestly racers are the ones in the ski industry that are the most cocky and egoistic. they need to face the fact that their not the only ones out there

I race, i know plenty of people on this site race. I can throw somewhat down in the park[no claim] and i know a ton of racers who are sick in the park. i know maybe two "cocky assholes" on my race team. And even if some of them only race, and not do freestyle or anything, IT'S STILL SKIING. The racer hate needs to stop, and basically everyone who hates on racing, has never raced before. Again show some respect, racing's super hard, if you want to do well.
 
okay i take back most of that,,, only SOME racers are like that. i actually know a really cool girl that races and got into freestyle. i just dont like overall cocky skiers
 
Lol so when you see people skiing and doing their own thing it makes you angry?
Moguls is freestyle, you can do your own tricks off the jumps, making it freestyle.
Seriously buddy, who gives a shit? They're skiing and having fun, you're skiing and having fun, why does it really matter?
 
plus 10k haha they stand on the jumps and make all their gay little sings to eachother then one will go off and do a strait air with a grab and everyone will think they are sweet and the coaches dont let them do flips unless they do them in water ramps first and get cirtified haha i got bitched out by the coaches once im not on the team but they flipped out when i did a front flip to a rodeo its so annoying they said that i was like setting a bad example for the little kids and stuff lol. i preceded to explain to the guy that his team was a joke and its good for kids to learn flips and not be pussys lol.
 
there are some sick kids on those teams and its cool that they're getting legit coaching. it just sucks when they cut you off on a feature and you have to wait an hour for all the little team kids to hit it
 
ok please dont tell me that the kids on that team can throw down every single one of them sucks and thinks they are great their coach doesnt know annything about sking and they hog the park and they cant do anything good their is one kid that is like half on the team that is good but thats it so please dont lie and say that they are good THEY ALL SUCK
 
PC has Axis Freeride.. ALOT of kids on that team. some good, some bad. then again alot of really really good skiers have either ridden in it or coached
 
i hate punctuation too seriously though why do you people care when you get older you will realise that these people who are just kids and ego is important as soon as you have all hit puberty it wont matter to you any more cos youll realise that the kids are exactly that kids
if anyone can make sense of that, then fair play. learn to use the comma and the full stop. they're wonderful inventions!
 
Being on the freestlyle team didn't seem to hurt Pep Fujas, his career didn't turn out too bad. Also your girl Kristi Leskinen.
 
there was this other guy, tanner something. used to ski moguls. completely ruined his career though. waste of time.
 
Although I totally understand some of where you're coming from, there are DEFINITELY exceptions.Alta Freeride Team- we aren't some rich bitches that can only ski moguls...Fin.
 
My uncle works at Waterville so when I went down their this winter I practiced with the freestyle team for fun and to work on my non-park skiing skills and he gave me the best advice. Just before I started he skiied over and said "Remember, you're an athlete and these kids are just rich."
 
I'm on a freestyle team, and it is nothing like you're talking about, neither are any others I've ever seen. Sure some of the kids choose to do moguls or aerials, but most choose to ski park. Almost all of the kids are legit and it's just a lot of fun to ski in a group with them, and it's awesome to have coaches there helping you along telling and showing you how to do tricks, not to be douches like someone else said earlier. NONE of the coaches I have ever met have been jerks or mean to kids outside of their program, they're all chill and are out here to have fun, just like us. You might want to try it out, not necessarily the mogul aspect of it, but try it before you bash it, you might find that it is a lot of fun.
 
i have the perfect exception to ur haternessi know a guy, who will go unnamed, that is an insane mogul skier w/ cork in his run, does double flips (lay-lay full. one o many) in aerials, and can do kang flips n pretzals all dayyou, thread creator, are a failure
 
Ok, so you are a douche. There is nothing wrong with mogul teams. Kids that want to and like to ski moguls will be on them. Let them do what they want. I for one am part of the ontario mogul team, and no i dont do "penis" spins. my tricks are back mute and cok 7 mute, which is probably more than you can do. Don't be hating on moguls

Moguls brought grabs, spins, and off axis spins (dinner roll). Moguls makes you a much better skier. Learning to use your edges properly also helps you in the pipe.
As for freestyle teams sucking. I am on a freestyle team. Yes, we do moguls. However, we are way bigger on the park and pipe scene then moguls. There are lots of teams out there. Justin Dorey, Roz Groenwood, Mike Riddle, etc, are all on a team.

ok i said all of this wrong i like moguls skiing and think that it is good the think that i am taking about is USSA they are the ones that do this and i am sure that their are tons of cool skiing teams out there it is the USSA that i am talkings about.
