Ski tattoo...any ideas?

i've been thinking lately that i'd want to get a tattoo that symbolizes my love for skiing. like an epic saying or quote. nothing with the word steez or jea or somethin, because lets face it, the words will be out of style soon. i just want something to sum up my love for skiing that i'll always be able to show people. but its gonna be somewhere where you can't see it usually. i don't wanna get a tatto and be thought badly against in interviews or something. do you guys have any ideas. i'm thinking about putting a quote somewhere on my back. any input would be great
 
you should get a big searchbar across your forehead to symbolize NS, and you're constant search for knowledge.

your asking people to design a tattoo that describes your love for skiing? we dont know how much or what you love about skiing so we cant tell u what to put in your tattoo
 
whoa...typed in ski tattoo, nothing. just didn't narrow down the search to just "tattoo" my mistake
 
because I see 26 threads a day that say "what skis should I get" or "what shoes should I get" and they get old real fast. In addition, learning to use the searchbar is a valuable lesson, and we don't want newbies getting too cocky too quick. while I usually avoid NSG completely, I stop by on occasion, and when I see things that people repeat, I point them out. If you never learn from history, you'll just keep repeating it
 
im sure the older guys like pep and jp and seth have had some good quotes, i just dont remember any of them...sounds like a sick idea though!
 
^^thats what i've been thinking. the one that says nothing is impossible. you are only limited by fear. and even that you can overcome. is one of my favorite quotes. but it can be used in any situation. not just skiing. but i'm leanin more towards a quote on my back like you suggested
 
well for a lil somthin somthin ill draw you one up if you give me basic ideas what to put together or what you want
 
i'm not sure if i want a picture of a guy doing a move or somethin cuz that move will just be played out sooner or later. but thanks for the offer. i'm not getting it right now. probably much later after i graduate from high school and have spent some time ski bummin it
 
Get something peaceful like an open field of pow pow or something like that - remember, you are still gonna wanna like this when you're 40
 
the one ive always thought would be cool would be a double black diamond symbol. a lot of people have said thats a dumb idea but i like simple stuff.

im thinking of getting a mountain. with writing that says "up here, only God can judge me"

ive also thought of getting super old school wooden skis
 
well if your telling me that you obviously didn't read my post, and if you are saying it in general, then yes, i agree, a very regrettable tatoo..
 
i was thinking about getting the vector of a chairlift up my side. but who knows! something like this but steeper and maybe one more chair:

asking other people for ideas of how to symbolize the way YOU feel about skiing is about the absolute most retarded thing i've ever heard. u don't get a tat that was someone else's fuckin idea
 
Well lots of people just choose a picture out of the book at the shop. But if you really want it to be meaningful maybe thinking of it yourself would be a good idea.
